And of course another favorite, the Jersey Devil. Still working on this one but I’ve really had a fun time with it.

Yo, I live. Been working on some little Blender projects modeling cryptids. Here’s one of my favorites, the Fresno Nightcrawlers.

Pretty sure these are wood ear (or jelly ear depending on what you call them) but would love a second person’s confirmation with mushroom ID’ing experience before I try powdering them for added flavor in soup stocks. #fungifriends

Woah, I’m still here! Motivation on projects hasn’t been stellar lately, so maybe if I put this here my screaming about motivation into the void will get me going again! Been meeting new people lately, making friends, making plays, just doing my silly little things. Hopefully more to come! 🩵

Side quest added, learning Blender’s sculpt features. Pretty stoked actually with how well this has turned out so far, definitely motivating. ❄️ More updates on little projects like this soon. Who knows, if it turns out well I may even have the opportunity to sell some finished prints and files!

W.I.P. Of a wolf half-mask I’ve been working on.

❄️Upgrades, people, upgrades! Huuuge number of possibilities have been unlocked with the help of the new resin printer I got on sale at MicroCenter (my beloved). Same print from Ender 3 Pro vs Halot Mage Pro, the quality has me scheming about what I can do next…

So, some deets on the Proto-suit. I’d taken the incomplete head with me to MFF (was planning on finishing it there but left the foam for ears at home, while thing there 😭) and discovered some issues with it mid travel. I had modified an M16 Studios MK3 base to retrofit my LED neons in. (Cnt below)

The horrors persist, but so do I ❄️Still alive! Expect updates on a little Blender project, I’ve been learning the basics.

Heyyy, just been catching up lately and getting ready for the holidays. Biiig moves lately, we’ve got a White Elephant planned and I have just the perfect gift for some ̶U̶n̶f̶o̶r̶t̶u̶n̶a̶t̶e̶ ✨lucky✨participant!

There was just soooo much to see that I couldn’t possibly recount it here. Santa Claus, a condom wizard, PS2 Hagrid, it was just so insane. Reacclimating to my little cornfield smalltown is going to be so difficult, I’ve been irreversibly changed by this experience and I love it!

Absolutely the time of my life! This has just been the best weekend ever! 15,547 of my funny little animal people, I loved meeting every single one of you! Big love to everyone who went with me, travel safely back home! I hope nothing more than to see you all next year! ❄️💙💙💙❄️

I am so stoked for day two! More updates and insider peeks into Midwest FurFest are soon to come! ❄️

And the people! They’re incredible! Foxqy (the last photo) and I talked a bit and they seemed so nice! It was super cool talking to someone from out of state, my little midwesterner mind has been irreversibly opened and it’s so cool!

It has been SOOOO much fun! There’s a ton of beautiful sights and colorful characters here! Last night was just night one, today at 1pm the Dealer’s Den opens and my poor abused wallet is not prepared 😭

Apple™️ Mini-Fridge ❄️ @icecoldproto.bsky.social · 01/12/2023

Rave was wild last night! Twilight Sparkle, a rainbow dog, and Santa Claus were tearing the floor down! 😂

Here we gooo! So many goofy little animal people!

Apple™️ Mini-Fridge ❄️ @icecoldproto.bsky.social · 30/11/2023

I was pretty close to a completed suit, surely I can have it done by next year!

030

Apple™️ Mini-Fridge ❄️ @icecoldproto.bsky.social · 30/11/2023

Unfortunate news: We left and I forgot my ears. My suit won’t be done, but we are here at MFF! Fun abound for sure!

Supports failing on the late end of a print you don’t have time to start again? Couldn’t be a more simple solution, just fire up your hot glue gun and add some manual support structure mid print! 😂

Apple™️ Mini-Fridge ❄️ @icecoldproto.bsky.social · 27/11/2023

Furs should be coming in the mail later today. Again, reeeeally hoping nothing snags at this point like a print fail or late delivery, because I don’t think I can afford it. Running dangerously low on the one resource I can’t buy more of. Time. Buuut things are looking up so far! More updates soon!❄️

010

Apple™️ Mini-Fridge ❄️ @icecoldproto.bsky.social · 27/11/2023

The vacuum former holds a seal and looks like it will work! As for the new faceplate… it already failed once. Turns out you should really be thinking about support structure optimization when making something that big. I added some manual supports, and it (hopefully) has no issues now. Low on time!❄️

010

Apple™️ Mini-Fridge ❄️ @icecoldproto.bsky.social · 27/11/2023

Whew, I was really nervous about designing a new face plate for an M16 mk3 back plate. The channels are for holding flexible neon light mimicking LED strips, it’ll be a static expression but that’s fine. I’ve not seen anyone else use them for a Proto suit, so I might be the first to try! ❄️

Apple™️ Mini-Fridge ❄️ @icecoldproto.bsky.social · 26/11/2023

So, about that suit head. One of the key components I’m missing is a tinted visor. I have thermoplastic sheets and compatible dye, so as of now the hang up is building a thermoplastic vacuum former to stretch the plastic uniformly over a buck shaped like the visor. Currently puzzling that one out!

Spent some time last night learning from the master, my grandmother. This project’s been a ton of fun! I’ve actually really enjoyed modeling foam and learning to sew!

Apple™️ Mini-Fridge ❄️ @icecoldproto.bsky.social · 21/11/2023

Fur swatches came in yesterday, all in all I ordered five yards of fur in a few colors. Last time shipping was pretty quick, let’s hope that’s the case with this order too. We’re uhh… kinda running on less than borrowed time at this point… 😅 It’ll be fine, I’m sure.

With the temperature cooling off I’ve been in anticipation for some winter weather, but it looks like it came a little earlier than expected… all over my kitchen table? ❄️ This is my first time working with foam. It’s been slow, methodical, and above all a very rewarding process! More to come soon!

For anyone who hasn’t seen over on that other site, I’m trying to get a partial suit together before MFF. It’s a tall order, but I’ve got most of the materials I need. Here’s an old drawing of mine for reference, and a photo of my boy John absolutely ✨slaying✨ in my progress at the head so far.

New to the platform but already I very much like how you can look through different feed topics individually. Super convenient that this place can cater to violent swings between my funny, furry, and science-y moods.

Big plans to use this in chronicling my first big adventure from The Facility alllll the way over to Chicago to meet more of you silly little animal people! Super excited, lots to do in the meantime! Stay tuned…
