Absolutely. I was so irritated by the Muppets in Space episode. Like, fine, do what you want, but have the jokes land and have the performances zing. I admire the ambition and the way they're committed to stand-alone storytelling, but too many of those "quirky" episodes killed the season.

The Chi. Seasons 1 and 2 are great. Season 3 is so-so, and by Season 4 it was unwatchable. Just had to give up.

Even if it were universally true, as a Labour Home Secretary her job is to shape public opinion so that racism isn't acceptable. She shouldn't be held hostage by fear of a racist minority _or_ majority. She should hold a set of principles about what is right and what is absolutely unacceptable.

The current Long Term Plan with it's emphasis in the three shifts while making additional cuts is an unworkable system level shitshow. No doubt it was dreamt up by management consultants who confidently presented solutions without sufficiently diagnosing the problems.

Cheaper doesn't mean more efficient. More efficient doesn't mean better health care. More sustainable doesn't mean more resilient. The issue isn't about NHS managers, but what they have the manage and the restrictions and conditions they work in. Especially in acute Trusts right now.

Ah. The management consultants, with the 56 page slide decks outlining what to do but not how to bloody do it all at the cheap, cheap price of £1000/day.
