Just consider the impact Ukraine has had taking out Russian data centres full of bot farms. They claim that social media has less hate and is quieter. This could reduce the influence on the US midterms. If these bot farms were around in 2015/16 then they likely had an influence on the Brexit vote.

At the moment we are sitting on the fence with regards to our future relationship with the US. If that relationship becomes untenable then we will have to seek a stronger relationship with either the EU or other mid-size countries or both.

I agree with you. I recall a young Green Party member claiming that if you didn’t support Trans people you couldn’t be a member. Some members do take up silly positions. I think that a lot of people who moved from Labour under Starmer to the Greens may well be moving back to Labour.

The issue with our economy is that money is funnelled upwards and out of circulation. We need to increase wages and spend locally. Effectively create a circular economy. In some respects that is in the hands of the people and where they choose to spend.

Talking with some friends yesterday who said, “we never got the Brexit we were promised, we’re still being controlled by the ECHR”. I pointed out that it has nothing to do with the EU and in fact the UK was a founder member. It just demonstrates the effectiveness of right wing propaganda.
