It’s called the City of Angels, and I saw some today. I saw one covering a tear gas canister with a homemade neutralizer. I saw one encircle a stranger’s child in her arms to keep her safe. I saw them back ICE into a corner. I saw one walking away while tear gas rained down around him so others could escape. I saw them everywhere today ; helping, protecting, healing, taking action, being brave.
