I haven't really watched anime shows seriously since I was 15 or 16 years old, but here is a list that represents my development over childhood. Row 1 is ages 6-9, Row 2 is 10-12, Row 3 is 13-15. Monster is the only exception, I watched that like 10 years ago and liked it when I was in my 20s.
My "9 anime"

Sailor Moon - Dragon Ball Z - Naruto
Cyborg 009 - Ruroni Kenshin - Fullmetal Alchemist
.hack//sign - FLCL - Monster

#7. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade: I wrote a substantial section of a chapter of my dissertation on this game, but since I was mostly just comparing it to the original FFVII, I didn't feel I needed to play this to make my point about and I CERTAINLY did not have the time. I'm a fraud!

#6. @pixeladay.bsky.social's video convinced me to buy this game and I know it would make me cry because it's just up my alley. Will probably be in my top 25 games ever when I get around to playing it. But... I have to be in the right place to play a narrative game I know I'll love.

If you look at this chart, especially with the way the numbers are colored and displayed and the percentages attached to them, you can come to the epress conclusion that LGBTQ rights, social programs, DEI, police brutality, etc. are unimportant to voters. Then you read the fine print... (1/X)

The whole situation is absurd, but this is such a bizarre statement. A former public professional relationship is exactly the kind of situation where one may feel obliged to distance themselves from a mold-brained freak. I can't think of a situation more personally necessary to critique someone.
Line from this article: "She adds: “However, Emma and Dan [Radcliffe] in particular have both made it clear over the last few years that they think our former professional association gives them a particular right – nay, obligation – to critique me and my views in public.”"

Thoughts on Donkey Kong Bananza, since I'll never make a video about it. 1. It's pretty middle of the road. What's interesting gets old fast after the first few levels, it has little to no challenge, and it's got all the trappings of time wasting you expect from a collectathon.

Wow, I can't believe the parity between the different trans mains. Very well balanced game.
Bullet point from the below article that says: "Of the 2.1 million trans adults, 32.7% (698,500) are trans women, 34.2% (730,500) are trans men and 33.1% (707,100) are trans non-binary people."

I don't fully get this setting, because my videos about trans topics are still available but my multi-hour reviews of Ocarina of Time, Shadow of the Colossus, and Portal 2 are not. I'm wondering if the mode is related use of curse words or something? Maybe it's factoring in video length?

Once you've got a handle how fit in with other women, you can spend more time developing your own style. Personally, I wear colorful and bold items, typically matching solids with dramatic patterns. I like overalls/dungarees from outlets like Lucy and Yak, which reshape my (thin) body significantly.
an image of a woman wearing lucy+yak dungarees with a plain white tshirt underneathan image of a woman wearing colorful lucy+yak pants with a plain white crop top. It's also better to reshape what might not be particularly feminine about your body rather than trying to emphasize what is. Many cis women have similar features to trans women, such as a small bust or narrow hips, but a half-tucked sweater conceals those facts by giving their body a new shape.
an image of a woman wearing a half tucked sweater and jeansa comparison image of a woman with an untucked sweater and jeans versus the same sweater tucked in.

While this woman is likely cisgender, her body shape is quite rectangular as her shoulders are as wide as her hips, which is a common shape for many transfemme bodies.

Men's jeans often rest on a person's hips. In women's fashion we would categorize that as "low rise," which is the lowest type. Women's pants have a great range of waist heights and wearing a high waistline with a tucked in shirt can dramatically alter your shape to look more typically feminine.

This advice can seem daunting because transfemmes might have worn similar clothing prior to transition, but it's not the kinds of attire that matters, it's how you wear them that genders you. For instance, men don't often tuck their t-shirts into their pants, women usually do.

You don't have to conform to these fashion staples, but they are the standard by which you should compare your style to and the best starting place for building a wardrobe. Observe what women around you wear, take notes, and follow their example, then learn how to riff on the themes.

Most women I know (both my teenage students and my older colleagues) wear simple outfits like: - T-shirt and blue jeans - Sweater and leggings - Blouse and pants They usually add an additional layer like a jacket, cardigan, or blazer on top of that. Note that these are outfits men also wear.
A diverse array of everyday outfits for women grabbed from "Merrick's Art" via google images. See that most of them the model is wearing pants.

i am error @iamerror.bsky.social · 21/05/2025
Other articles of exclusively-women's attire (dresses, etc) are common for femmes developing their wardrobes, but not everyday wear for most women. The impulse is donning them codes the wearer as feminine, it does, but it also makes you stand out because it's not typical feminine fashion.

It's easy for transfemmes to put emphasis on wearing female-coded articles of clothing and not on understanding feminine styles and archetypes. For instance, short/mini skirts are popular amongst transfemmes, but I rarely see cis women wear them.

28. Mannequin (1987) A deeply weird movie in a way that was totally normal in the 80s. I love the gay side character and how everyone in his workplace completely affirms the main character's affair with what they perceive as a mannequin. Oddly (for its time) queer-friendly in its perspective.
