From the 1857 U.S. Supreme Court ruling denying Black people U.S. citizenship, to the Trump administration's attempt to end #BirthrightCitizenship. They want to decide who belongs in America. Their mother's DACA status was still valid, but ICE deported her after detaining her on the way to church. Her U.S.-citizen children are now paying the price. “I was crying... My parents don’t have a bad background, they never, like, had any criminal records.”
