That’s my thing. We’ve never had a poll our way in a senate race except for ONE in 2018, and never for Gov. we are now consistently with Talarico up, Gina is now up in 2, this is after attacks and influx of cash and ads have been running for 2+ weeks now.

And I live in a very decently split suburb, my neighborhood is typically about 49/47 or so Rs to Ds based on public voting data.

When I tell yall, I have seen Gina and Talarico signs popping up all over my neighborhood, more every week, in front of house that have never put up any signs before. I put mine out every cycle & I keep an eye for who else does too, these are houses that in 10 years haven’t ever put signs out.

This is absolutely going to come down to turn out, if Dems turn out in numbers, if we vote like we did in the primaries and outvote the Republicans, we have a chance to flip this state that has never been as possible before in my lifetime.

At the end of the day, this is Texas. She’s let me down every single time I’ve voted in my life, but something seems different this time around. I’m yard signs in front of houses that have never had anything political, I’ve seen exactly 2 Paxton signs in the surrounding area. Multiple for Talarico.

That being said, @govandybeshear.bsky.social - when are you gonna invest some in the Texas Gov race because it is desperately needed.

People are pissed at Abbott about our cost of living, gas, especially AI Data centers and Flock cameras, the ads spending on culture war bullshit don’t genuinely seem to be moving many needles. I definitely think the +4 is an outlier but I do absolutely think this is a very close & winnable race.

With Siena: Talarico is up by 6 points, Gina up by 4+ Crosstabs show massive leads with Latino and Black Voters across both polls, significant leads with Independents as well. What I have seen personally, is when people find out about Gina, they like her a lot.

Gina’s biggest issue continues to be money and name ID. She’s been outspent $22m to $2m - even with that, she’s within the margins of error and leading in the Siena poll released today. Now onto the Siena poll.
