If this is still open… I’m Cherry, and I’m Cherry flavored! I draw a lot of OC cartoons and such, been focusing on my webcomic a lot lately Here are a few examples of more recent-ish stuff :)

Panel 2: Dylan awkwardly rubs her shoulder and says, “I know it sounds crazy… But I’m definitely certain that I’m dreaming right now… Last thing I remember was falling asleep with a fever… then I woke up as a cat…”
Panel 3: Tori grabs Dylan’s face and says, “Wait! Did you say fever?” Dylan scrunches up her face and says, “Uh yes…?”
Panel 4: Tori says, “Ah… So that explains it!”
Panel 5: Dylan touches her cheek and asks, “Explains what?” She also quietly asks herself “How was their wing sweaty?”
Panel 6: Tori is pointing toward the background. In the background is a mountain range and forest, in the mountains are 3 scary looking, gothic towers with buttresses and turrets. A path leads to the forest from the foreground. Tori says, “Those big, creepy towers that showed up right before you did!”

I did the game thing (they're in no particular order) #My9Games 1: The original Paper Mario is so good. Super charming and cute! 2: I was born the year Mario64 came out. I have so many memories of dad and i playing it. Possibly was my first video game.

Today is Tori's birthday!! Tori holds a special place in my heart! They were the main character in my first webcomic and they've stuck with me all these years! They've gone through quite a few changes, but I'm happy with where they are now! #DylanAndFriends #OC #OriginalCharacter #Art

From my Mastodon because I’m too tired to retype it all here, regarding this week’s Dylan and Friends being incorrectly labeled “explicit”

It's been a whole day, with multiple appeals to bsky moderation, and my version of this post (the latest comic, not pictured here) over there still has the "Adult Content" label because their automated system has somehow deemed that this comic contains
"explicit sexual images" (their highest level of adult content label, meant to label sexual activity and erotic nudity)
Clearly, they don't have actual humans working in moderation over there, because a human would never look at this comic and say that it's sexually explicit

It's incredibly frustrating to deal with, because this whole time my silly, innocent comic strip is hidden behind the site's highest level adult content warning, meaning readers are under the false assumption that it's somehow inappropriate/adult/nsfw
And it mischaracterizes the nature of my professional work. Dylan and Friends isn't necessarily for children, but it's not explicit.
My ideal audience is young adults or adults young at heart

Panel 1: Dylan is lying in bed, clutching a plush cat to her chest. She groans "unngh…", the speech bubble breaking apart into smaller bubbles. She doesn't look so good. Chris is standing beside the bed, looking at a thermometer in her hand. Chris says, "Yep… You have a fever alright…"
Panel 2: A thinner panel than 1. Chris pulls the covers up to Dylan's shoulders, and Dylan rolls on to her side. Dylan's expression is exaggerated, her mouth is a squiggle and her eyes are half closed. Chris says, "The best thing for you to do right now is rest. I'll be at work, but Tristen is right upstairs."
Panel 3: Chris kisses Dylan on the cheek. Dylan still has the same expression.
Panel 4: A wider panel than 3. This panel establishes the environment in Dylan's bedroom, the carpet is pink, Dylan's dresser rests against the wall, her desk and computer is on the far wall near the window, the door is just around the corner. Chris is standing in the middle of the room, looking at Dylan in the foreground.
Panel 5: This panel is long and thin. It's a close-up of Dylan in bed. She's groaning and her eyes are slowly closing. An audible click is heard as Chris leaves the room out of frame.
Panel 6: Another long and thin panel, but it's thinner and shorter than the last. An even closer crop on Dylan's sleeping face.
The last 3 panels are transitional, each getting smaller and thinner. The first is a gradient blur of the colors present in the previous panel, the second is grey, the final is black. Dylan has fallen asleep.

Panel 1: Dylan (left) and Tristen (right) are walking out of a shop. It's late. Tristen stretches one arm over her head and says, "Oof, what a day…! I'm exhausted… How 'bout you, Dyl?" Dylan, looking beat-up, and messy, and incredibly tired, is hunched over and disheveled. Dylan replies weakly, "Yeah…"
Panel 2: Close up on Tristen. She's rubbing her shoulder and has a confident look on her face. She says, "I think after today, I'm gonna sit around do nothin' tomorrow!"
Panel 3: Both Dylan and Tristen again. Dylan says, "Ahah… No you're not… We have another shift tomorrow…" Tristen turns around to look at Dylan with a confused expression on her face. She says, "Hmm?"
Panel 4: Only Tristen. Tristen looks surprised and concerned, her pupils are tiny as she exclaims, "Wait! Are you sayin' we have to do all that stuff again every day?!"
Panel 5: Only Dylan. Dylan rubs the back of her neck, holding her other hand out in explanation. She says, "Well, it is a job after all… I don't know what you were expecting…"
Panel 6: Still Dylan. Dylan looks a bit confused, and she points at herself in a confused gesture. She says, "Honestly… I still don't understand why you suddenly felt the need to get a job in the first place… You seemed perfectly content to me…"

The comic continued. Panels 7-14.
Panel 7: Only Tristen. Tristen looks mildly concerned and sad. She says, "Well… You, Tori, and Chris all provide so much… and I don't offer any financial support… I wanted to do more to actually add value to the household…"
Panel 8: Both Dylan and Tristen. Dylan puts a hand on Tristen's shoulder and says, "Oh, Tristen… You don't need to make money to be valuable to us…" Tristen looks up at Dylan with a sad expression.
Panel 9: Only Dylan. Dylan shrugs and gives a sheepish smile. She says, "We might not have a lot of money, but between the three jobs, we make enough to get by. And we're more than happy to support you."
Panel 10: Tristen looks on with a sad expression. A single tear drips from her eye.
Panel 11: Tristen hugs Dylan, burying her face in Dylan's shirt. Dylan strokes Tristen's hair. Tristen says, "Thank you, Dyl."
Panel 12: Tristen is still holding Dylan. A "Ba'Ding!" sound plays near the bottom of the panel. Both women look down. Dylan asks, "Oh, what's that?"
Panel 13: Only Tristen. Tristen holds her phone in her hand, looking at the screen with a little confusion as she reads the message. She says, "It's an e-mail… Says I've earned $100 from video game streams this month… wait…"
Panel 14: Tristen grabs Dylan's shoulders and shakes her violently with excitement. Dylan looks dizzy, her mouth is a long squiggle, and her eyes rattle around. Tristen shouts excitedly, "That means I contribute financially after all!" Text in the bottom right corner reads: End of Chapter.

Dad found me this little guy at the thrift shop. They were a little worse for wear, needed a cleaning, and had a hole in the left stem They were destined for the trash, but I was able to scrub them down and sew up the hole 😊 🍒
