iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 07/12/2025I talk about fighting games way too much 😂 I swear though that's not the only thing I care about. Bluesky just happens to be my journal for what I feel like putting out there for no one to hear lol 000
iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 07/12/2025Fgs seem to always follow trends. SF4 literally restarted the trend of making fgs again, GBVS started the 1-button special trend, GGST started the rollback trend. InvincibleVS seems to have made motions trendy again by adding them in and I'm really hoping Avatar makes fast anime games trendy again 🙏 120
iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 19/11/2025Back home from Japan, seeing Marvel Tokon and Steins;Gate news, Dispatch s1 finished up while was abroad. Yeah life is pretty alright right now 👌 Also, as someone who's never read the vn and has no particular love for the style, I really like the Re:Boot art but understand the frustration. 000
iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 04/09/2025What if the Marvel Tokon beta access was actually the friends we made along the way? Then I'm still SOL, I would have atomized one of y'all to steal your access. 100
iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 14/08/2025Been watching lots of Marvel Tokon stuff. If the idea isn't to get opened up by assists, I hope ArcSys lean into archetypes. Lots of It's 1v1 with assists as extra specials, going around. What I think would add lots of depth, differentiate the game is if you switch for more favorable matchups. 000
iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 30/07/2025Man I wish I had a better grasp of the languages I'm learning than people think I do. I feel like a fraud 😂 I think its cuz I like linguistics and can explain concepts abt Spanish and Japanese but in practice, I definitely sound like a learner still after 10+ years. Astronomer vs astronaut type deal 000
iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 25/07/2025FF First Steps seen, and it's good but I liked Superman a bit more. Superman has lots of moments that show the characters' heart, world's absurdity and actor's acting chops. Pascal, Kirby et al are stellar but imo, cuz it has to be so many things in a bigger design, FF is maybe lacking in comparison 100
iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 14/05/2025Just tried Strive again for the 1st time since s2 and Ram is so different lol Also playing on a new controller so went down from 10th floor to 7th. I remember liking how Xrd felt more than Strive but man, I'm remembering all over. I was dabbling in P4U and movement, gatlings, pressure feel awesome. 100

iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 27/02/2025It's maybe tiresome to hear but Pokemon Day Presents was disappointing again imo I am excited for Champions as my main interest is the mind games of battles, but Z-A is so ugly lmao I'm playing BW for the first time rn since I never did in 2011 and it's oozing with style. Should've gone for HD2D imo 100
iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 20/02/2025Alright YFNS s1 finale watched. Ep1 & 2 had me cautious with the slow burn but 9 & 10 made me a true believer. The paradox is cool and I'm glad to see Nico's relationship and motivations fleshed out. May being absent also makes sense now but crap, I'm never getting Keaton Spidey ever again, am I? 😭😂 100
iamaaronxd1.bsky.social @iamaaronxd1.bsky.social · 06/02/2025Just watched YFNS ep3. Still gotta watch ep4 & 5, but I immediately feel its pacing is better than 1 & 2, which felt like they took an hour to set up what 90s and Spectacular did in 22 minutes. The show's also setting up great drama. Lonnie's predicament, especially given his comic alter ego, is A1. 100

I've heard some fair points–e.g reworking characters so late in the game's life is weird–but the nuttiness brings back a sense of discovery in routes that I've missed since the closed beta tbh Yeah stuff is busted but it's fun for my fingers. 000
