Quite agree. The extent to which big money donors have pushed the transphobic agenda in British politics is disgusting. We should be forthright in rejecting such right-wing politics of hate and be proud of our party policies to uphold trans rights.

A hundred thousand fascists and xenophobes rallied in London today. I despair.

There is a reluctance among the leadership, MPs, and paticularly the Lords to say "these people are bigots and unwelcome" because they will sue. Several of the Lords have publicly supported them. The language of "legitimate concerns" is used if any ordinary member complains about this.

We had a massive pro trans rights protest outside. The president said in his report that it was regrettable they were there. The conference coming up in March? The CEO has overruled FCC again to allow them a stall /at party body rates/ and ax fringe session. Because they threatened to sue.

The vast vast vast majority of the membership and activists are pro trans rights. There is a small, noisy, litigious group of transphobes that call themselves "Liberal Voice for Women". Last conference the CEO overruled FCC to let them have a stall in the exhibition, because they threatened to sue
