I'm listening to a recording of myself in deep trance and having a conversation with the hypnotist. Its ... disconcerting. I'm a more talkative, more chatty, less inhibited. I start saying things like "I am hypnotized." Just listening to it is trance-inducing, even without an induction.

People were putting down a cloth on a display table, and, somehow, a cat appeared underneath it. (Echo was sitting on the top pedestal of a nearby cat tree when she saw the cloth being opened, and jumped down to investigate.)

This is Sherlock, one of two bookstore cats, who is very shy, especially this night when it was raining and storming outside. Fortunately, I was able to get both sides.

Echo (the floofy black kitty) likes to balance on the back of chairs. She also thinks that any seat that isn't occupied is hers. Nico (the soft grey kitty) is always curious and wants to see what Echo is doing.
