095: Marvel's Midnight Suns you can REALLY feel this game buckling under its own apocalyptic stakes by the end, but they were onto something with the whole superhero strategy thing! bummed that we don't get a lot of slightly janky, not-quite-AAA licensed games that punch above their weight like this

for the sake of not just saying "OG Ditko", i'll go with the Last Stand suit, both as a stylized 2D drawing and in the Insomniac games. normally i'm not about making costumes more plain, but for a character often defined by a hectic work-life balance and tight budget, i actually think it works!

this is a fun challenge, since i don't know too much about Ultraman outside of a couple of movies! i think if i'm looking over the whole catalog and trusting my gut, i'd say Ginga. i like a sleek Ultra, and the glowing pieces fit into the whole "beings of light" vibe i associate these guys with.

this is a tricky one since there's so many! i could rattle off quite a few, but i think my gut's telling me it has to be G2 Laser Optimus, particularly the more modern versions. keeps a lot of the core Optimus-y traits but also feels a lot more athletic, and the shoulders have such a cool silhouette
