This cut event in #Hylics 2 once had a destroyed variant of the first TV that would've been swapped in place after the combat scene, as the TV was supposed to be destroyed after the fight. We've seen an earlier version of this event teased in Mason Lindroth's Tumblr back in September 2017. -💀

The cut damaged TV variant loaded ingame.

Leftover in #Hylics 2's beta is an early version of the player character with quite a few differences from the final release player character. Most notably this version of the player having the ability to shoot projectiles in place of the glove slap mechanic the final version has. -💀

Fun fact, in #Hylics 2 there's an unused 3D scanned model of the clay meat computer which is only ever seen in sprite form in the final release. The model can be found leftover in the scene for Disthlarn Moon on a desk in place of where the Sage TV is found. -💀

Early in #Hylics 2's development, Mason Lindroth had began prototyping the look for the opening title sequence of the game. It initially began with the camera panning to the right, revealing the same hand graphics for each letter rising up before revealing the roman numeral "II" at the end. -💀

#Hylics 1 had a scrapped party member! An old gif from Mason's Tumblr features the "boxhead" NPC as part of the party. There's also an unused overworld sprite for them, a trait only shared by party members. Boxhead was replaced by Somsnosa around September of 2014. -🌸
