The Tories, knowing their game was up, spent the last few years of their government deliberately ‘salting the ground’ to make things as difficult as possible for an incoming Labour government, as well as us the citizens. They didn’t (don’t) care about us, only in their own toxic political games.

Unfair, as many houses aren’t sold for decades, some even for centuries. E.g. the house I live in was bought by my grandfather in the 1920’s, should I be still be taxed on its 1920 sale value?
