Man...I'll be honest. Replaying the mainline Neptunia games before the newest mainline game gets announced for a western release...really reminds me why I actually loved those games so much.

After 13 years of ownership, the disc drive in my trusty PS3 slim has finally bit the dust. Looked into options for getting a replacement Blu-ray drive for it, and they're more expensive than a working full console so...I'll probably end up doing that instead. You win this round, Sony. But not […]

My brother recently complained to me that because he had to cancel his PlayStation Plus subscription, he doesn't have any games to play on his PS5 anymore. I then asked him "so do you understand why I collect physical games instead?" Complete silence. 😂

Man...I wanna upgrade the free PC so bad. By "upgrade", I mean upping the RAM from 8 to 16 GB and possibly getting a better SSD installed (like a 1TB drive). But current component prices...

You know, after literally months spent in isolation and away from people, it's actually kind of nice to socialize with others again. :blobcatcoffee: I'm actually, like, regularly going outside and such and it's just kinda...nice?

So...PlayStation will no longer have physical games for new releases starting January 2028, and the PS3/PS Vita stores are closing in July 2027. Thoughts? Personally - this just effectively means that I won't want to buy a PS5 at all. It's been on my "buy one eventually but not now" list, but […]

Gamers, I'm very happy to report that Zenless Zone Zero on Steam literally just works on Linux. No need to do anything special. Download, hit play, log in and you're just playing the game. Fucking...THANK YOU. More games need to do this. THIS is how things should be. #linux #linuxgaming

I've had an issue that's been plaguing me for months with Dolphin on KDE where any time I try to open my Home directory, my RAM usage would insta-spike and the kernel would have to terminate Dolphin. Found out it was 2 culprits: - Baloo File Indexer - PDF previews Resetting the indexer and […]

I hear it very frequently in my field of work - "you work in IT so why do you not like AI?" Simple. It's low-level IT folk like us that have to often clean up the messes AI makes. I'm tired of re-doing AI-generated KBs to not read like absolute horseshit...and if I hear another "oh i asked […]

I'm honestly just heartbroken with the modern state of gaming. I'm tired, man. I'm tired of companies like Nintendo, Ubisoft, EA treating their customers like wallets to steal rather than actual users of their products. I'm tired of all the live-service & subscriptions. I'm tired of seeing […]
