Cute pictures! I live in a state that's been in extreme drought for a majority of my adult life, so seeing how green other stages are always makes me jealous.

I made it out of the house today, and went hiking for the first time in ten years. I forget how many sights I can see close to home. Seven miles of foliage just starting to change. I'm hoping to make this a weekly thing.

It's...yeah, I feel you. I hope you're able to find peace soon.

Andrew | Hushed Pixel @hushedpixel.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Same here. Then I finally get a burst of motivation and start cleaning at 5pm, when I should be making dinner.

Still trying. I hate that I haven't been able to be active here, but I don't like feeling like I'm being negative all the time I also feel like just coming here to talk video games and pretend everything is normal is disingenuous. I try to be myself here, and right now that's just really hard

Definitely worth talking with a doctor about depression, though. You're probably not fixing burnout with antidepressants on their own, but it doesn't hurt

As somebody who is ADHD and I'm starting to suspect Autistic, I've been dealing with similar issues. Pretty sure it's burnout. Everybody gets it, but it's definitely worse for people who are neurodivergent, because we ten to mask our traits to fit in better www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/livi...

Burnout and Neurodiversity

Burnout seems to hit neurodivergent people harder. But burnout is always an institutional problem, not an individual one. Fixing stressors can improve everyone's health.

To those who had a really, really hard day of being a human and didn’t say anything… Thank you for staying 💚 I’m so happy you survived the day. You are worthy of nice days. See you tomorrow? ✨

Same! The music, visuals and the story of Ocarina of Time all had a huge impact on me. I was obsessed, and it's a feeling I feel like I've only had a handful of times since

I know you're being sarcastic, but SquareEnix has been ignoring the Chrono games and their fan base for a long time. Everyone had their "Hollow knight in a clown wig" meme while they were waiting for Silksong, but I've been over here waiting for any sort of Chrono Trigger/Cross remake news

Andrew | Hushed Pixel @hushedpixel.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

It definitely feels like the Pierce Brosnan Bond movies should be the ones celebrating their 20th anniversary instead.

Man, I wish places would do more to combat scalpers. Those resale prices are a joke

All I had was Jade Empire, which was an amazing game, but I put an average amount of hours into it

I'm so close to pulling the trigger on the first, it's 50% off in the Nintendo EShop right now. My backlog is just so long right now it's hard to justify

I was slightly disappointed that Blizzard's StarCraft shooter was announced for a 2030 release, because it seems so far out But, then, I've been waiting 24 years for a StarCraft FPS, so what's a few more?

Hopefully I didn't overlook somebody else taking the letter I: Icewind Dale Around 2004 I started playing D&D with high school friends. At the time, Icewind Dale was one of the best games at scratching the same itch in the weeks between sessions when I was going through withdrawals

Labor Day - a U.S. holiday where we honor the working class and their contributions to society by forcing them to work while everyone else gets a day off with holiday pay

Congrats! I cleared it once and decided that was good enough for me. I don't even think it was the Hades fight, honestly. It was the Theseus and Minotaur that ended more of my runs than anything. By the time I made it through them on a run i was never in great shape to get much further

Andrew | Hushed Pixel @hushedpixel.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

I'm terrible at making those decisions too

Twilight princess would be amazing. With how they've been treating Pokemon, though, I'm worried they'll release it as a standalone game instead of in the NSO GameCube games I need them to announce all the indies in the normal direct. All of them. Because PC has been getting them and I feel left out

The Halo 2 release was such a cool thing to experience. It felt like the first time video games were more mainstream. Like, people knew who Mario was, but that was kind of the extent of the average person's exposure. Then suddenly Master Chief was everywhere.

Must be a right of passage in Utah, because when I was growing up, my family went to Moab at least once a year. Beautiful area, and Delicate Arch is still one of my favorites

Love hearing your thoughts! I started the first game last year, but then life got busy. I'm really hoping to get back to it, because the story was really interesting, and everybody seems to really love the series as a whole

X-Men blew my 90s kid mind. But, the early 2000s were insanely stacked with movies relevant to my interests. Two X-Men movies, two Spider-Man movies, Hulk, Star Wars Prequels, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Chronicles of Narnia, Pirates of the Caribbean, and several Pokemon movies.

It's something that I've always thought was crazy. Music CDs have almost always been rippable to digital format. Most Bluray movies include a free digital copy. But for some reason books and video games never really have.

Looks like it was a great show! I don't usually enjoy concerts, but seeing MCR live is a bucket list item for me.

Congrats! Pretty sure it took me twice as many attempts and I gave up after vanquishing him the first time. Good luck getting 9 more!
