I was active duty with three kids and was eligible for WIC. Along with the food they also provided amazing support. Nutritional advice, parenting info, and when my breast pump died they loaned me another one.

Y’ALL. I called my girl dog off an opossum MID-STRIKE! We had that moment where our training was tested irl. I turned the porch light on, all looks clear, I let her out… then she launches into the dark. I yell her name to recall her, and she PIVOTS mid-sprint right back to me. 1/2

I'm so grateful that, basically, all pet food nowadays is fully balanced. From Dog Chow to Orijen, almost no pet is dying from nutrient deficiency anymore. We are able to nit pick and judge these brands based on other factors than "does this even contain calcium?"

My husband broke down a whole chicken, and this is my first time truly appreciating what I can make from the whole $9 bird. The fat that separated in the stock got turned into gravy. Chicken scraps (not bones) went to the dogs. We have SO much meat, it will last us 3 weeks 😍 Thank you, chicken 🙏
