On a Johnny Cardoso scouting mission and he’s just banged in an equaliser in the derby

Micky van de Ven you are rocking my world

I’ve lost count of the amount of times AZ players have just played simple one-twos around our entire midfield/defence

Unfortunately Johnson is still too happy to just turn back and keep possession against teams where he needs to beat his man and create his own space

Repeatedly watching *this* midfield structure and getting frustrated over and over. It's miserable. Feels like they're set-up to fail. AZ have our number, like many teams at a talent disadvantage have had over the last year. I really struggle to project this as anything other than getting worse.

Spurs are getting caught by the AZ press *every single time* surely we need to change the structure

Hunter Godson @huntergodson.bsky.social · 06/03/2025

AZ are well structured and difficult to break down so we need our only good 1v1 winger on the pitch. Bring us Wilson Odobert.

Bentancur I’m begging you to stop any player running straight through the middle of us

I know a lot of people like this midfield three but I feel like there’s an issue with energy and physicality

There is a notable difference in energy between AZ and Spurs at the moment. Spurs getting pressed and played around at the moment.

Ouch, horribly unfortunate own goal from Bergvall there.

Shocking start topped off with a comical own goal. Liked Poku a lot in the first game against AZ and he already looks v bright here.

A profile of Antonin Kinsky, Tottenham's new goalkeeper. A standout personality, unwavering calm with the ball at his feet, and an excellent shot-stopper. I spoke to people in Czechia for @theathleticfc.bsky.social. www.nytimes.com/athletic/603...

Who is Kinsky and what sort of goalkeeper are Spurs getting? Neuer comparisons and incredible reflexes

All you need to know about the 21-year-old Czech goalkeeper and why his former teams have such high hopes for him

Completely outplayed. Genuinely awful performance. I haven't lost faith in this project, personally, but I am losing the energy to try and fight the case and persuade others. Investment in first team players urgently needed in January and yet the bloat of the squad makes that extremely difficult.

I’m sorry but that is unbelievable from Kulusevski

That is world class from James Maddison. The movement after the pass into Son and the finish 🫡🫡

Premier League continuing to fly away from the competition. TV and commercial agreements for the three year cycle 25/26-27/28 up 17 percent to £12.25bn. Time when European leagues like Italy and France in trouble

haha that's the fear with every player we lose isn't it? Reality is he has the rest of the year to prove he fits this system. Spurs have been dreadful at moving players on when they still have value and I think this would be a good opportunity to double down on Ange-ball

Hunter Godson @huntergodson.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Would it be the end of the world if Dragusin left? A good stop gap that wasn't a great fit for the system
