Last game was on Tuesday night back in Tokyo. Chunichi Dragons got a 3-run homer and beat the Yomiuri Giants 3-0 as neither team could manage to hit their way out of a paper bag.

Third game was in Osaka (actually Kobe (actually Nishinomiya)) with the Hanshin Tigers hosting the Yomiuri Giants. Koshien Stadium just finished hosting the national summer HS baseball tournament. Tigers tickets are tough to get, so I overpaid for Stubhub tickets in the outfield, which was great!
Outside of the home plate side of Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya. The stadium wall is brick with vines growing up the side of the walls. Upturned lighting illuminates the wall and vines from the second story of the building. The illuminated sign on the side of the stadium says "阪神甲子園球場" ("Hanshin Koshien Baseball Stadium"). An elevated car freeway has been built too close to the stadium, ruining an otherwise nice view. Many fans arrive at the stadium from this direction with the train station on the other side of the freeway and the wide pedestrian walkway under the freeway.A Panoramic view of Koshien Stadium from the left field stands. From the left, the large scoreboard in center field is visible. The field is centered with left field in the foreground, the infield in the middle distance, and the covered infield stands in the background. A partly cloudy sky covers the setting sun with the stadium lights on providing the evening light for the game.In the middle of the 7th inning, fans blow up long balloons to release all at once. Here, the fans have blown up the balloons and are waiting for the signal to simultaneously release them. Probably 3-4000 balloons are visible starting from the LF stands in the near left side around the outfield stands and into the 1B side foul territory seats. It is fully night time with a dark sky and stadium lights illuminating the stands and the field.

My second game was on Friday in Hiroshima as the Carp hosted the Yakult Swallows. We were down in the LF corner, but the seats were very comfortable and actually faced the right direction to watch the game on the infield. No dome or misting system meant that it was cooler, though still hot.
Panoramic view of the Hiroshima Carp game, shot from the left field corner across the field with the RF corner in the center, center field on the left side, and the infield on the right side. The sun is setting now at about 6:30 with a pretty, cloud-covered sky. The lights have just turned on. The Carp are not doing very good this season, so the stands are not very full right now.

My first game was last Wednesday with Seibu Lions hosting Nippon Ham Fighters (Ohtani's team while in Japan). It was oppressively hot, and for some reason, they installed mist jets all around the stadium to try to cool people off. It was outrageously humid under the dome as it caught the moisture.
Outside the "Kyuujou-mae" train station that goes directly to the stadium. The Seibu train company owns the trains and the team, so the trains are nicely synchronized to work for game attendees.

Overhead, the sun sets behind some clouds. It looks nice, but it's still over 90 degrees. There are about 200 people here, just outside the train station gates.Outside the Belluna Dome, Seibu Lions' home stadium. The dome is actually open around the sides, so it's more of a pavilion construction. Pretty much everyone walks up from the train to the gates in center field. Before the stadium there are small buildings to the left and right with the team shop.Inside the stadium while the game is going on. Our seats are on the third base side just beyond the infield. The dome roof is overhead and the twilight is peeking through the sides just above the seats. The misted water from the "cooling" system is hovering in the air, rising with the warm air and getting trapped underneath the dome. Normally, the air wouldn't be so occluded, but the moisture in the air is particularly visible.

Photo of a guy in white dress shirt and tie. It's the "having a great time with my friends. They're just out of frame laughing" guy, because Fox is pretending that the weird Freedom 250 celebration is good, popular, and well-attended, which it is not.

Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec enjoying the outdoors, as he does. Sitting in a canoe holding a paddle, one could imagine a US Parks Department employee named Frank Land looking exactly like this.
