Most modern controllers: Breaks within a year. My Sidewinder flightstick from the 90s: Creaks a little but works great. My Sega Genesis and SNES controllers: Work great. Master System and NES controllers: Work great. Don't you love planned obsolescence and cutting corners but not prices?

Jiujitsu class is funny sometimes. The teacher will just be straddling your midsection, calmly explaining how to rip somebody's arm off. It'll just make sense and be like, "Ah, I see! What if they do this?" *Tries thing but then she rips your arm off in another way.* "Oh! I see!"

Today is the first day after a jiujitsu class that I'm not super sore. I got my ass kicked pretty hard by everyone else in the class, but I feel kinda good. Very mild limb soreness, but feeling kinda energized. Very new feeling.

I actually bought Creme De Cassis and Orange Juice so that I can make one of the very few alcoholic drinks that I kinda like at home, Cassis Orange. It's kinda weird to have alcohol at home. I normally only drink a couple times a year. Still only having a glass every now and then, though.

So I recently started learning another language. I've started paying for weekly lessons like has worked for me previously. I'm also trying out DuoLingo for the first time. It lives up to its stereotypes. Right at midnight, I get an email that basically says: "STUDY CHINESE, OR I BREAK YOUR KNEES!"
