The OoT remake exists because Nintendo wants Zelda to be a yearly franchise. Remakes and spinoffs are part of that plan. ALttP remake is certainly the next remake planned followed by MM. After those 2 who knows if Nintendo will touch the Capcom Zelda games, but I'd guess not

im not gleeful about highguard shutting down, but since the trailer the writing was on the wall you know youre rolling the dice when you make a f2p live service game chasing a trend with no dedicated fan base in a volatile market while also having the most 'investor-brain'ed visuals, it's expected

While I think Highguard might be DOA, I dont think its placement as the final TGA announcement will have anything to do with that. I think if it were announced at any other slot it would be forgotten already. "Former dev of 'X' studio" having a go at an established genre isnt a formula for success

I can't stop thinking about Deltarune ch 3. the way the game notices and comments on how you play during that chapter is so amazing and fun. The game is reaching out and interacting with you in so many little fun ways.

I do think Expedition 33's narrative is bad. The foreshadowing is overbearing. In spite of having 3 women in your party, the game fails the Bechdel test. Interactions are non existent. The big ending is basically: Is it ok to create an omelas child to cure your disability? Yes or No.

I find that people that play and review a wide variety a games tend to elevate new/novel experiences even when the whole package is lacking. My main example would be Jusant. I found it to be a like pretty good to okay game, but it got glowing reviews when it came out, and it left me wondering why.

So the rule was, if there's a dog, you should be able to pet it. And this got misunderstood as, you add a dog so it can get pet. No, the point is, your interactions should reflect the reality of the game space; it's bigger than dogs. Anyway, if you equip a hat in Death Stranding 2 you get a choice
