I suspect that the claimed, and most likely false, Venezuelan oil deal serves two purposes. 1: to try to put pressure on Canada to accept a horrible trade deal. 2: to subdue US citizen's concerns about the oil supply under threat and an impending spike around US thanksgiving.

I just watched the new Supergirl movie, and I know why all the manosphere guys hate it without watching it. The villains in the show are an accurate depiction of them. Abusive child traffickers who spend their free time in 'fitness club' environments and get off on simply causing pain.

Baked, broiled, grilled, roasted, etc... there are so many ways to cook. Seed oils, like so many other things, are problematic at quantity, because dosage makes the poison. If half your cuisine is deep fried, THAT is the problem, not the oils.

I'm old enough to remember the term 'vegetable oil'. To be fair, I never liked the smell/taste of canola oil, I prefer corn oil for neutral stuff and olive oil for my day to day cooking.

I love to remind people that bike riders contribute as much to taxes as car drivers, and use much less resources, so in reality we subsidize the roads for cars, that is to say asphalt welfare. Those kind of commenters lose their fucking minds when you say they are collecting welfare in any form.
