It took nearly a month to arrive, but it was packaged in form-fitting foam and survived the ocean shipment and ground truck delivery without issue. 120

It’s a simple unit for testing 4116, 4132, 4164, and 41256 DRAM chips — which is perfect for most Apple II computers and others like C64, Atari, TI, etc. (Now I just need to find my box of suspect chips so I can test them!) 160

Adam McG @hulkintosh.bsky.social · 17/03/2025I needed to repair a 70’s Apple II and every one of the chips were socketed, except the two 555 timer chips. Those were the only 8-pin ones, so maybe they ran out of those sockets that day? Anyway, the faulty part (and last tested) was one of those soldered 555’s. 😅 050
