I like that while most Kin in Magic have 2 or 3 Lords as Pay Offs Spirits have 1 lord Shacklegeist and Rattlechains making them perhaps THE MOST tempo Kind out there You just wait patiently tap down big threats or blockers and when the time is right you send in small attacks so you can keep tapping

Well went ahead and ordered 4 Copies of Silence for Modern and then a bunch of cards for Value Vintage and Commander. Kimoyo Beads is really REALLY nice in a slow grindy match up in 1-v-1, like at its lowest level its a Blossoming Calm every turn.

Hmmm... I'm still kinda frustrated that I could never make Shai work. She reads like such a cool card but at 4 mana with how compressed commander games have gotten she just can't do more than like 1 card and by that point the sun is getting awful low.

Hrmm... on second thought these are exactly the kinds of cards people have a problem with in Commander aren't they? Because they take players out one at a time and people will complain that that often leaves someone sitting out for a long time.

Highwater and Curse of Vengeance have very strong "Don't worry about it, it wont ever hurt you" energy to them and I kinda love them for it. I like this kind of thing for Black Politics in commander, like its incredibly sinister.

Vision here will probably always be an amazing threat. Like if your opponents choose to continue to play Magic in front of him he winds up for a big ol smack in the chops, and if they DARE try to remove him he walks away indignantly just to come back and be like "I just think its funny..."

Ephemerate is quickly becoming my favorite Pauper card. Turning my creatures into spells is really the vibe of it and the Bant Ephemerate deck just feels so great because of it. Mind you it's probably The Initiative that does most the work but still... This card is so cool.

I imagine that Yume will likely win out over Venser for me. I can't KNOW for sure yet, but I imagine it will. She is just so perfect as a card, very much my style and I like the idea of building like an Opt-In Stax Deck.

Magic's History has frequently favored The Enfranchised, the ones who knew the game inside and out. Hell at one point there was a whole deck dedicated to the pilot's keen understanding of the metagame and the only way to win with it was to know your opponent well enough.

Pumpkin Bombs feels like a really big upgrade for Venser. I need to find my squees and squee alternatives for the deck Rope and Coveted Jewel also feel really really good, its a ton of Card Draw and Rope does Ramp. Rope is VERY funny because it cant be sac'd

Alright, I think I got some of it sorted hopefully... I think the "Rotten Vibes" were coming from the deck being very disorganized "Bad Good Stuff" Upgraded Value Engines, goldfishing was more fun though the vibes are still off a bit in fishing it Having Value Engines I give away helps a lot

I want to promote my favorite land, Fountainport which allows its user a constant source of added Mana, bodies, and card draw though at a slow click But in the Prison Match-up just having some way to keep making little shitters without casting can be a lot Being colorless is a big downside however

Notably Green does use Theorist's Sanctum which is good in a war of resources AND while you are locked out by the chant. It does a little vs Narset/Days by letting your surveil though there's the risk of running yourself out.

Not seeing Colonnade, Anchorage, or Hall in either of the top contenders UW decks is interesting. Hall of the Storm Giants feels like, from an inexperienced player's perspective like it would do a fair bit to help in the mirror match.
