The worst thing about leaving southern california was losing the huge selection of produce at the super- and farmer’s markets. But I found a place out here that has decent-ish avocados, and remembered exactly why I loved having one for breakfast every day. Sadly didn’t get a video of it, though.

Yes. I’ve moved rock solid diapers from the pail in the unheated garage to the pickup bin. But Chicago has alleys where the bins go, so just drop them off once and never worry about it again. Having made the LA to Chicago move, you’ll miss the weather for a bit.Then it’ll be fine. And it’s cheap.

I broke a leg while wearing cute diapers, once, and had to feign being very modest about undressing because they specifically wanted underwear to stay on under the gown. After a lot of hemming and hawing they found a pair of spare shorts somewhere in the urgent care.

Traveling with friends, eating lots of big meals, I had the first hint of “I’m not going to make it to a toilet“ in the cab back to the hotel. I made it as far as getting off the elevator on my floor, I guess as a form latchkey incontinence, before involuntarily and completely destroying my diaper.
