how it feels to publish my most recent fanfic and have the person who wrote the original content its based on say she likes it and is inspired for her own writing. @/wings-of-ink on the tumblr

a painting of a knight swearing fealty to a princess

"eeeeeee!!! this made my day, dear! im so honored that you felt inspired. <3. its so sweet, the reassurances between MC and him are beautiful. im feeling a little inspired now, too... thinking we may need a series of extras with MC doing their hobby or job and the RO distracting them, lol."

look at the sky, you're still here~ #pixelart

A pixel art landscape featuring a lush landscape, with a blanket of white and blue flowers. There's glowing white orbs and the flowers and orbs blend together in the distance.

There's a bright blue sky, and wispy clouds leading you to a large billowing cloud.

grey wagtail

a long vertical piece depicting a girl with wings sprouting out of her uniform. she is looking over her shoulder at us as she effortlessly balances on a branch jutting out of the water. in the reflection of water underneath her, instead of a girl, we see a grey wagtail in her place.

its really easy to want to be self serving. but a small amount of compassion can go a long way, and people have to look out for each other in this world we are in

how so many people want to just, not look at things that bother them. and i guess i get that. but you have the power to help people. i would encourage someone who donated to the fundraiser to take the same amount of money and go to gazafunds or the esim people and give that same amount. i know ->

i say this as someone who loves fanfic and someone who loves how the site works. but the whole ao3 fundraiser hitting their goal in an hour or whatever just feels really disheartening when there are so many people who are begging for money so they can just, not die. it speaks to something about ->

hate tumblr sometimes bc ppl will reinvent the stupidest fucking discorse that should have died in 2015 but when you go to unfollow them its a dear friend from highschool you have no other way of contacting and so u must decide how much their stupidity outweighs the value of their friendship
