The album I listen to more often than any other these days, completed by the band after singer/composer Tim Smith’s death in 2020 and released 26 years (!!) after the previous LP. It’s brilliant, beautiful, surprising, inventive at every turn. Also the best sounding #Cardiacs album. A+++ etc.

Renaldo & the Loaf’s 2016 comeback album is magnificent, clever, charming, singular and really everything one could hope for. I love it. The guys’ related projects (Darkening Scale, Tapeworm Vessel & Renaldo M’s solo album) are also terrific. The documentary about them is also A+.
