There is a bit of truth. When lumber costs spiked under Biden, building a home likely cost 20-30% more. BUT, none of that had anything to do with Biden policy, nor did Trump do anything to lower those costs. So for builders, yes; for buyers, no.

That's a ton of rain. It should make everyone with a basement nervous.

I hate job destruction, but after using Waymo on multiple trips, I find it the superior product. No tips. Excellent cars. Total control of music. No overly scented environments. No compulsion to chat. None of the driver's personal stuff in the trunk or front seat.

What scares me is that I do see people excited about Tafoya — not just the hard-right Trumpers, but middle-of-the-road folks. Peggy needs to find an angle that gets attention and support.

The anti-car agenda is among the most unrealistic efforts I see daily. It is soaked in self-righteousness and loathing of drivers. Multi-option transportation is, and always will be, the only path.
