Literally just this minute finished and grasped to my heart while sighing. Anderson creates the most beautiful people for us to fall in love with while we hear their weird (complimentary, Shakespearean sense) tales. The Lord of the Wood. E.M. Anderson

I've found nothing makes a man more mad than telling him his Enneagram is astrology for men. I mean look at it:
A chart showing the circle of personality alignments for the Enneagram test results.
Top text: What is the enneagram? The enneagram is a psychological system that helps us understand why we do what we do. We are an organization that believes all of us are inherently good. The enneagram helps us to understand what is right about us.
Below is a circle with the numbers 1-9 on it, starting with 9 at the top of the circle, the numbers proceed clockwise. The chart is separated into three colors: brown, green, and blue with brown symbolizing "belly center" green symbolizing "heart center," and blue symbolizing "brain center."
#8, 9, 1 are brown, 2,3,4 are green, and 5,6,7 are blue. Alignments across the circle from one another are connected by straight lines further enforcing this alt text writer's point about the enneagram seeming to draw on the same places that the horoscope does, just with numbers because men.

We bid you good greeting on this auspicious Caturday! Well. These guys have a different greeting. #caturday
Please know I'm going to try my best here. A photo of two cats playing a game of wills on top of a black cardboard scratcher bed. One cat has sat upon the other cat. The top cat is a grey and white medium hair cat looking down in concentration at the trapped cat. The trapped cat is a black and grey striped tabby with white feet and has his head poking out from under the other cat's white belly and has a look of consternation on his face. His back paws are swinging in front of his body which means that the top cat has managed to get the center of balance advantage.

As a kid born in Colorado, I had always thought that tree line was universally defined at 11,000-12,000 feet. It was so weird to visit Mt Washington's summit via the cog rail and be able to breathe but also feel like I was on the top of the mountain.
A photo of a cloud inversion over the other mountains in New Hampshire from the Mt Washington Cog Rail. About 5 minutes from the top. A photo of a very rare clear sunset from the top of Mt Washington with other hills and clouds below us. I'm pretty sure the weird white thing is just some lens flare.

Affordable cat enrichment. Needed: a door that has something in the way so it doesn't open all the way, various small toys. Not required: that the toys will fit under the door. (The cats will figure out how to move the door so they can get behind it. Eventually. Well, ymmv.)
A photo of one side of a french door that cannot open all the way because there is a bar cabinet behind it. The bar has a wine bottle opener, cat slow feeder, and a stuffed Bear from Bear in the Big Blue House. A photo of that same french door and cabinet showing that we've deposited a couple small cat toys - felted wool bees - in the part that will get enclosed when the door opens. These bees will fit both through the bottom crack under the door and the crack made by the wall by the door. This is not required for the cats to enjoy it.A photo of a grey, black, and white tabby cat sprawled on his back on one side of the door playing with the toys (not pictured) on the other side of the door. Happy Caturday from my boys! This week we finally learned that the downstairs cat tree is a fine spot. (Maury, right, has taken to hanging his front paws of things so this is perfect.) #catsky #caturday

He is sitting with his front feet tucked because he knows no free feet on the internet. On the right is a medium hair grey and white cat with one paw on the landing to the cat condo box and one foot dangling off the edge. Both of them are tilting their faces to the side.
