🤖 If you read something like this in technical content > "I'd usually make the deferred components explicitly #enableable..." specifically the term *enableable* you hopefully all know immediately who actually wrote this and more importantly who most likely never read it.

Watching the tech industry unleash unpredictable software into production in the name of AI adoption, then spend twice as much time and money trying to limit the blast radius, proves humans should be investing in our own intelligence before allowing the machines to mimic us.

Anecdotal evidence that despite all the great progress and the undisputed usefulness this is what we're all (still) dealing with: 🤯 > ... **to avoid the work of fixing them** ... I'll be more careful about **accepting test failures as "by design"** ... Let that sink in before the weekend. 🙃

In the first ages of AI, writing a program to play checkers or chess or Jeopardy or Go was seen as an analog to human intelligence. In this current age, language is the proxy for human intelligence.

Love, that this is the quote @martinfowler.com picked. (btw, pi has an rpc.mode, should be trivial to integrate with the one true editor)
As I listen to people who are serious with Al-assisted programming, the crucial thing I hear is managing context. Programming- oriented tools are geting more sophisticated for that, but there's also efforts at providing simpler tools, that allow customization. Carlos Villela recently recommended Pi, and its developer, Mario Zechner, has an interesting blog on its development.

So what's an old guy velling at Claudes going to do? He's qoing to write his own coding agent harness and give it a name that's entirely un-Google-able, so there will never be any users. Which means there will also never be any issues on the GitHub issue tracker.

How hard can it be?

If I ever get the time to sit and really play with these tools, then something like Pi would be something I'd like to try out. Although as an addict to The One True Editor, I'm interested in some of libraries that work with that, such as gptel. That
