#365Films 287 - Margin Call released in 2011. This is one of two movies about the 2008 financial crisis that I really like. I think this is the lesser of the two but still a really great look at one side of the story. A really amazing cast.

#365Films 286 - Fast Five released in 2011. The best of the F&F films for me. It built to a peak before it got ridiculous with them being super heroes.

#365Films 285 - Contagion released in 2011. 10 years after its release it felt like a documentary. Luckily the real one wasn't quite as bad as the one in the movie.

#365Films 284 - Tron: Legacy released in 2010. It took nearly 30 years, and it has some funky looking de-aging stuff, but this looks and sounds amazing. The 4K release is just next level. The soundtrack may be better than the movie.

#365Films 281 - Up released in 2009. The first ten minutes of this film hit me especially hard. I have an adopted son is all I will say. Once Pixar rips your heart out the rest of the movie is a lot of fun.

#365Films 280 - Sherlock Holmes released in 2009. A fun modern adaptation of the Sherlock Holmes character. There have been so many in the last twenty years. The sequel was good as well. It really is better than anyone expected.

#365Films 279 - Paycheck released in 2003. How do you ensure a clean room investigation of a technology, erase your memory obviously. Somehow, I had wrong year for this, so it is out of order. John Woo's follow-up to Face/Off and M:I 2, not as good as those.

#365Films 278 - Moon released in 2009. A one man play starring Sam Rockwell. This is a great movie about space exploration and one way to do it. Don't read about it, just watch it.

#365Films 277 - Fast & Furious released in 2009. The relaunch of the series and the start of something big. No one would guess there was another 6+ movies to come after this.

#365Films 276 - District 9 released in 2009. At the time this film was an amazing use of technology in film making. Its story is too real still today.

Does Laptop Ultra "start" at $2599 or is it only one spec? Also, you can spend $5000 on Surface Pro or Surface Laptop so this is cheaper?

#365Films 275 - Coraline released in 2009. This movie freaked me out, it is creepy but good. I was over 30 when I saw it. I can't imagine a kid seeing this movie. It looks like a cute animated movie but scary.

#365Films 274 - Avatar released in 2009. Similar to Phantom Menace this film redefined how digital film making is done. Best 3D at the time and only bested by sequels.

#365Films 272 - WALL-E released in 2008. A Pixar movie that doesn't immediately make you cry. This is some of the most unique visuals for a Pixar film, I think. It really has some expansive sets.

#365Films 271 - The Dark Knight released in 2008. This is the best of the Nolan trilogy of Batman films, but I enjoyed all three. Also, I proposed to my ex the morning of seeing this in a true IMAX hundreds of miles from home.

#365Films 269 - Iron Man released in 2008. This movie kicked off the MCU and the modern superhero films ever since. It was a big risk that paid off in big way. Before Marvel was owned by Disney. I don't know if anyone predicted what this movie started.

#365Films 266 - Transformers released in 2007. Seeing Optimus Prime transform, the first time in the film was unbelievable. The series is definitely over the top cheesy, but I am a Transformers kid, what can I say. Mostly each film went downhill from the first.

#365Films 265 - Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street released in 2007. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp back again. This movie is memorable because my ex got my dad to watch it, he doesn't like blood in movies. It didn't go well.

I backed it, so don't come at me telling me what I don't know. I have backed many physical books kickstarters. They will come when they come. No need to get grumpy. Me getting a book of old magazines on a specific date really isn't something I worry about.
