It do be like that.
A collage of colorful, translucent tech gadgets from the late ’90s and early 2000s, under the heading “technology design peaked here.” Items include a red and white Apple iMac G3, matching orange iBook, multiple translucent Nintendo 64 consoles and controllers in orange and blue, and an assortment of Game Boys in various colors like green, purple, and yellow. There’s a yellow Game Boy Advance, a transparent yellow Sega Dreamcast, a purple Hello Kitty edition Dreamcast, a blue PlayStation 2 with a matching controller, a Tamagotchi, and translucent memory cards. The common theme is vibrant, see-through plastic shells, evoking nostalgia for the era’s playful tech design.

So is Twitter worth it? Eh. If you can keep the effort low and post quick, punchy clips, it’s still got some juice. If nothing else, Tamashika proved one thing: you have 15 seconds to make people care. That’s it. No deep dives. No lore threads. Just get to the point. Good luck out there. 2/2 🧵
A white background featuring a screenshot of Tamashika’s viral tweet, which shows a first-person gameplay clip with stylized visuals. Next to it, engagement stats highlight its reach: 27.1M views, 18K reposts, 156K likes, 38K bookmarks.

Above the tweet, the bold red heading reads “People’s attention spans are fried”. Below, the text states: This isn’t just about Twitter. It’s how all game marketing works now.A white text box with a subtle patterned background. A megaphone emoji 📢 appears next to the bold red heading: “Fans will market your game for you (if you let them).”

The text explains that you can’t force hype or engineer virality, but you can make it easier for people to care. When players feel involved—whether by sharing clips, interacting with devlogs, or passing on cool moments—they help market your game. But that only happens if you let them in early.A follow-up to the previous image, with the same heading “Fans will market your game for you (if you let them)” and a megaphone emoji 📢.

The text highlights Tamashika’s viral tweet, saying it wasn’t just a one-off—it became a trend. Other developers started posting their own 15-second gameplay clips, creating organic reach that you can’t buy. The post ends with a shoutout: “Great job, vidhvat!”A fun, casual closing image. It features a 3D avatar of a bearded man in a blue shirt and jeans, standing with arms crossed. The heading originally says “If you enjoyed this post”, but the word enjoyed is crossed out and replaced with “hated” in red handwritten text.

Below, engagement icons prompt the viewer to Comment, Repost, and Like. The Turing Studio logo is at the bottom.

Everyone fled to Bluesky, swearing Twitter was dead. The algorithm? Messed up. Engagement? In the gutter. Musk? Still Musk. But then Tamashika drops a 15-second gameplay clip on Twitter, goes viral, and reminds us all… yeah, that site still kinda works. Just not in any way you can predict. 1/2 🧵
A graphic with a textured gray background and a pattern of small cute girly game-related icons. The text reads, “Twitter is still (somehow) a thing for game marketing, and Tamashika proves it.” At the top, a red banner says, “Go follow @vidhvatm on X.” At the bottom, two illustrated hands from the game are pointing weapons at each other—one holding a knife, the other a a gun.A white text box with a subtle patterned background. A peach emoji 🍑 appears next to the bold red heading: “Early feedback saves your butt.” The text explains that most tweets get ignored, but one viral post can drive thousands of wishlists and sales overnight. Since you can’t predict which post will take off, Twitter only makes sense if you minimize effort.A continuation of the previous image, with the same layout. The heading and peach emoji 🍑 are repeated. The text presents three green check-mark bullet points:
✅ Repurpose clips you’re already making.
✅ Keep it raw—polished trailers won’t hit like a snappy 10-second gameplay moment.
✅ Use it as a testing ground to see what grabs attention.

The final line reinforces that most posts will go nowhere, but occasionally, one will explode.A white text box with a magnifying frying pan emoji next to the bold red heading: “People’s attention spans are fried.” The text explains that Tamashika didn’t go viral because of deep storytelling or fancy trailers—it worked because the gameplay was clear in 15 seconds. It stresses that if a game can’t sell its core loop quickly, players will move on.

Most industries don’t market unfinished products. Cars, apps, movies—they all wait until things are polished. But in game dev? You gotta start talking about your game while it’s still a mess. I learned this the hard way. Here’s what I’ll do differently from now on. 🧵👇
A screenshot from an early version of the game How Old is James? features a minimalist platformer design with blocky shapes in black, orange, and cyan. A small red character with white eyes stands on a cyan platform near a lever. A speech bubble from a cartoon avatar in the bottom left reads, “As far as screenshots from HOiJ are concerned, this is as old as it gets.” Icons in the top-right corner suggest menu options.

I guess I have a thing for stupidity...
This is a humorous visual where a Venn diagram combines categories of “butter,” “knife,” “butterfly,” and “fly” into overlapping sections. Each intersection is cleverly represented by an object (e.g., butter knife, butterfly knife) that fits both categories. The humor lies in how unrelated these items are, yet the diagram forces them into “logical” combinations

So stupid it's good :D
This comic humorously combines two iconic video game franchises. The character resembling Mario offers Link (from The Legend of Zelda) a “power-up mushroom.” After consuming it, Link transforms into a glowing blue version, labeled “Hyperlink,” referencing both his upgraded state and a clever pun on web hyperlinks. In the final panels they finish with a high-five, and Link turns purple highlighting the fact that he has been "clicked on". Their faces turn from joy to mild confusion.

posting this here as a reminder to myself to always say this to smug people being nosey.
This is a four-panel comic with two stick-figure characters interacting. Here’s a description of the panels:
	1.	Panel 1: One character is sitting on a couch, holding and playing a flute. The other character walks in, looking surprised, and says, “What the hell are you doing?”
	2.	Panel 2: The character with the flute replies, “I’m learning the flute.” The standing character laughs and asks, “Haha! Why?!”
	3.	Panel 3: The flute-playing character looks shocked and worried as the standing character crosses their arms and smirks.
	4.	Panel 4: The flute player, now very serious, grabs the other character’s shirt, leans in, and asks, “You’re not familiar with doing whatever the f*** you want?”

This is very neat to me, just to kinda help me remember just how much the difference actually is.
The image contains a comparison of the magnitude of a billion versus a million, framed using time measurements. It does this with various time units:
	•	1 million seconds = about 12 days
	•	1 billion seconds = about 32 years
	•	1 million minutes ago was approximately 2 years ago
	•	1 billion minutes ago was the year 114 AD
	•	1 million hours ago was the dawn of the 20th century (1901)
	•	1 billion hours ago was around the time the first modern humans walked (141,000 years ago)
	•	1 million days ago was around 700 BC
	•	1 billion days ago was 2.7 million years ago.

The background is dark, with a futuristic digital design.

A four-panel comic by GoodBearComics.
Panel 1: A person wearing overalls is hammering something and says, “Okay, chicken coup is done.”
Panel 2: Another person eating breakfast responds, “Coop. There is a ‘p’ sound in the word ‘coop’.”
Panel 3: A close-up of the first person, who looks alarmed and sweating, thinking, “Oh no…”
Panel 4: Armed chickens with determined expressions charge forward, shouting, “Down with tyrants!” The two characters from earlier are seen watching in fear through the window.

A grainy black and white photo of three people standing in what looks like a recording studio. They all feature mullet haircuts and are working on some music together. The walls feature posters with German words written on them.
