Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 15h

Got to pet an extremely friendly 6 month old puppy today so I'll be riding that high for a while

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I also immediately smashed my bag into something in the next building I entered and broke his head off ✌️ At least it's a clean break on a seam and I can glue him back together when I'm home.

Okay I couldn't wait until tomorrow I knew I'd be so sad if he was gone. Went back today. Bird husband obtained 🤭

I keep thinking about this statuette I saw yesterday of a raven-headed guy in a suit. Halloween decor but he reminded me of The Cat Returns and that really endeared me to him... I might try to go back tomorrow and if he's still there, it's meant to be. Hope he won't be too heavy to bring back 😅

Apologies to vultures for using your name in vain

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

You used to be able to pick your seat at check-in for free if you weren't after a "premium" one, but now these vultures want $35 for it if you don't want your randomly assigned one 🙄 I will not be doing that.

I'd have rolled up my old troll shaman if they went Horde. Still will as an alt of course. I played her from BC up until early MoP so she's my most nostalgic character.

Guild is going Alliance for WoW:Forever so I guess I need to think up a night elf druid OC 👀 Maybe a Winterspring lady? I don't have any Alliance-side OCs of the Vanilla races xD; I guess my demon hunter pre-corruption but eh.

Also I can't believe they dropped the transmog restrictions, I assumed they'd never ever do that lol

The horizontal progression in GW is what made me want to get into it but I kept getting overwhelmed by not knowing the game and stopping. This'll be nice and comfy lol

001

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Ok yeah. Vanilla WoW with horizontal progression and never going past 60 sounds pretty good. WoW Forever has me interested hahah

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Aside from feeling flattered that they liked the previous pieces enough to want more, eventually the char also becomes more comfy/easy to draw because I'm more used to it xD Win-win

It happened again tonight!! Perfectly timed big lightning flashes!

There was also thunder and lightning outside just as the fireworks show was starting, which was very cool :0

I'm attending and by attending I mean looking around and mousing over people and being VERY shy and scared to be here :D;;; But I attended.

Maybe when I have time again I should fire up the ol' sewing machine and make a Lopmon plushie >:3c

010

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

This was a veeery close second and as much as I liked the idea of a she/her Diarbbitmon (and a nature guardian type), I wish Bastemon wasn't... Like That. Slightly redesigning her (not just color shift) defeated my canon-only purpose. Didn't like other Ultimates here and didn't want to use Antylamon

Digimon evolution line consisting of Pafumon, Kyaromon, Lopmon, Lekismon, Bastemon, and Diarbbitmon.

010

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

And I get a goat in there with Mephismon 8D My personal "rules" for putting together a line were: 1. It had to be possible (much browsing of the Evolves To/From lists on Wikimon) 2. Avoid using more than one stage from an "established" line.

110

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Few months back I went "if I had a canon-only Digimon who would it be" and after months of waffling I think this is she! With a smidge of color shifting, as a treat. I got Lopmon from a partner quiz ages ago and she IS my favourite colour combo. I briefly made a Terriermon knockoff as a child, too.

Digimon evolution line (of very slightly color-edited official art) consisting of Botamon, Pagumon, Lopmon, Lekismon, Mephismon, and Kuzuhamon.

I've been juggling it with getting time in to do work-work, of course, but we've kind of got a deadline for finishing this deck before early Sept @__@

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

After the family visit trip ~1.5 months ago both of us kind of got a "reset" where now we no longer want to sit inside and play video games, just want to be Outside working on Outside Projects. Sometimes doing 10h days or going in for dinner at 9pm xD; It's really nice but whoo boy my body is tired.

My hard lineart brush is is unsatisfactory on ipad, it just doesn't work the same as desktop no matter what I fiddle with. I say sketches in big quotes because they're just being done with my sketching brush but I'm inevitably being too clean with them anyway xD;;

010

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

We've started an X-Files rewatch and I've just been doing ArtFight portrait doodles every evening on the couch with the ipad and it's been pretty nice to just no-pressure knock these out, especially now that I've stuck to """sketches""" without struggling with my lineart brush.

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

I love free rocks and dirt!!!! They're weirdly expensive if you need to get them otherwise

011

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Did you know if they're doing road work and digging up a bunch of dirt, you can just ask them to give it to you instead of dumping it? For FREE?? I've got like 40+ yards on my driveway now, it looks like a landscaping company out there 😅

110

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Was considering toning it down to just doing unshaded sketches nearer the end of the event, so I can do More, but got anxious that people would be "mad" about it because now they're "worse" -___- Stupid thoughts.
