Got to pet an extremely friendly 6 month old puppy today so I'll be riding that high for a while

Okay I couldn't wait until tomorrow I knew I'd be so sad if he was gone. Went back today. Bird husband obtained 🤭

I keep thinking about this statuette I saw yesterday of a raven-headed guy in a suit. Halloween decor but he reminded me of The Cat Returns and that really endeared me to him... I might try to go back tomorrow and if he's still there, it's meant to be. Hope he won't be too heavy to bring back 😅

You used to be able to pick your seat at check-in for free if you weren't after a "premium" one, but now these vultures want $35 for it if you don't want your randomly assigned one 🙄 I will not be doing that.

Guild is going Alliance for WoW:Forever so I guess I need to think up a night elf druid OC 👀 Maybe a Winterspring lady? I don't have any Alliance-side OCs of the Vanilla races xD; I guess my demon hunter pre-corruption but eh.

Also I can't believe they dropped the transmog restrictions, I assumed they'd never ever do that lol

Ok yeah. Vanilla WoW with horizontal progression and never going past 60 sounds pretty good. WoW Forever has me interested hahah

Maybe when I have time again I should fire up the ol' sewing machine and make a Lopmon plushie >:3c

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Few months back I went "if I had a canon-only Digimon who would it be" and after months of waffling I think this is she! With a smidge of color shifting, as a treat. I got Lopmon from a partner quiz ages ago and she IS my favourite colour combo. I briefly made a Terriermon knockoff as a child, too.

Digimon evolution line (of very slightly color-edited official art) consisting of Botamon, Pagumon, Lopmon, Lekismon, Mephismon, and Kuzuhamon.

After the family visit trip ~1.5 months ago both of us kind of got a "reset" where now we no longer want to sit inside and play video games, just want to be Outside working on Outside Projects. Sometimes doing 10h days or going in for dinner at 9pm xD; It's really nice but whoo boy my body is tired.

We've started an X-Files rewatch and I've just been doing ArtFight portrait doodles every evening on the couch with the ipad and it's been pretty nice to just no-pressure knock these out, especially now that I've stuck to """sketches""" without struggling with my lineart brush.

Finished my 14th AF attack last night (ง •_•)ง So I've now done as many as last year, but not quite what I managed to do in '24 (21 of them!)

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Huh. It's amazing how much shit you can get done on evenings/weekends when you're not beholden to a WoW subscription.

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

My dog sings when my husband plays the ukulele. However, he also has this thing where if husband is learning a new song, he won't sing along until he's heard it often enough to "recognize" it as a song. This in turn means that "tuning the instrument" is considered a familiar song to woo/whine to xD

Me at 8am: Ok it's pretty early and still kinda cool out so I should get some watering done and put these two plants in the ground. Somehow this took me until 11?????

Hi it's Ly(ra) @howbrite.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Ok cool. Yellow thunderstorm watch with risk of tornado. That's new and unpleasant. Hail watch is bad enough. Guess I'll go make sure there's no loose stuff outside???

Rats, can't do more than sketch in short bursts while in a car. Too bouncy and nauseating. Here I was thinking this 13h drive would be so perfect to knock out a few AF Attacks xD; At least I can get the next handful roughed out!

If there's one thing that makes me so frustrated about the iPad it's how inconsistent it is with how it lets you interact with it. Sometimes your files are in Files but sometimes they're in Photos and they can't cross and sometimes you can't access one of those depending on what you're doing.

One walk done so far in my mum's neighborhood and had two separate people call this goober a big wolf (endearingly) and a couple called out to us asking what breed he was because he's so tall xD Barley attracts attention!

Finally got the LFR colorway of these shoulders so my Monk can have the outfit she's wanted since TWW 💙

Screenshot of a blood elf from World of Warcraft dressed in a blue, white, and gold outfit. The shoulders in question are crane themed, and match her crane staff.
