Reform received more than Labour and the Tories combined last year - and £22,799,565.40 more than Count Binface did!

We just need to uncouple consumer prices for energy from the international market to encourage energy companies to use more renewables.

Enough with the outrage theatre. If Reform stands for ordinary working people, why did all their MPs vote against the Workers’ Rights Bill? You can’t wedge immigration into that one. It’s just the record. #VoteGreen

This was the moment when Trump's political career should have ended. He was never suitable for public office but when he stood up on stage and mocked Serge Kovaleski, that was the moment when he showed the public exactly who he is. #NeverTrump

Or he has a list of territories to conquer and both are on it. Assuming he invades Greenland and survives the EU dumping the dollar and taking back the US bases on European territories, how does he intend to keep it?

Farage is a grifter, he's not interested in facts and neither are his followers. They have loads of excuses for why Brexit is a disaster, none of which are true.

Those "concerned parents" outside "migrant hotels" remind me a lot of the paedophile mob panic created by the News of the World's "name and shame" campaign in 2000. Same idiots. Same press. Same mentality. Yes - the News of the World. Remember why they shut down?

Before 2015, Tech minister, David Willetts, would attend events like InfoSec and give a high level speech about the UK's place in the world as a centre for tech. Willetts wasn't thick, nor was he a techie. He did a perfectly good job without technical knowledge because he only needed an overview.

Don't you just love misleading statistics? The Torygraph announces that 12% of prisoners are foreign born, ignoring the fact that 16% of the UK population is foreign born. The conclusion here is that foreign born people are less likely to be criminals in jail, the opposite of what they're reporting

Back when I was on Twitter, this guy was a vile, racist bigot who wouldn't shut up and doubled down on his homophobia and racism when challenged. The consequences of his own actions are not something I will particularly mourn.

The state provides education for children. No fees are charged beyond the taxes we all pay. Without public schools the state would have no problem picking up the children of the well off.

hoverFrog @hoverfrog.bsky.social · 27/05/2025
As they should, as everyone should. If the wealthy had no option but state schools for their children perhaps they'd demand better funding for state schools instead of bypassing them.

hoverFrog @hoverfrog.bsky.social · 26/05/2025
Why should VAT not be paid on school fees? Why should there even be public schools when state schools are desperately in need of more funding?

hoverFrog @hoverfrog.bsky.social · 26/05/2025
I was supportive of the lifting of a VAT discount on private school fees before but now I know it hurts the rich, I'm even more supportive of it.

I want him to do this in some safe Tory seat. Then I want all the parties except one to step down so it's a two horse race. I don't mind which party wins but a safe Tory seat will probably have the Lib Dems in second place. Let REFUK split the fash vote too. Exploit FPTP by cooperating.

A smart president would state his objectives clearly i.e. bring manufacturing back to the USA rather than to foreign nations. Then he'd consult experts on how to do this effectively. Then he'd implement those policies carefully, changing import taxes only as necessary. He's reckless and dangerous.

I would pay good money to watch Ed Miliband go 15 rounds with Fartage. Oh, not that kind of fight? Fartage is all bluster and bullshit. In a proper debate he has no argument. He'll back out of being challenged because, like all bullies, he's a coward.

hoverFrog @hoverfrog.bsky.social · 25/05/2025
Agreed. How do you fix this? How do you get rid of him? How do your reverse the damage he's done and is doing? How do you stop someone else doing the same thing after he's gone? The next President needs a radical reset. None of the same old low tax low spend bullshit, you need proper investment.

Boys do this, males who lack the confidence to hold and stand by common decency. Men are supposed to have strength and confidence. That means calling someone out when they act badly. This, of course, is not only for men to do but men need to do so because we've so often failed.

I'm pretty sure that the European experiment was designed to prevent war in Europe by standardising trade rules, setting standards, and reducing punitive tariffs. The USA didn't cone into it. You know though, if the US want to join, there's a process they can follow.

Why didn't Andrew Neil ever accuse #LiarJohnson of lying? Or any of his administration who routinely lied? Matt Hancock with covid and his affair, Rishi Sunak with the economy, Penny Mordaunt with her #MordauntFacts about Turkey and the EU, and Johnson on...well, everything.

When, not if? So a man on twitter admits that he's just waiting for the opportunity to rape someone? Lads, if you see this, call them out. We have a bad enough reputation without this kind of behaviour making it worse. No wonder women prefer the bear.

No people can be ruled without consent. I have no desire to see the UK break up into smaller, weaker nations, but without the opportunity to break from the rest of the union, it cannot be called a union.

It is a subjective claim. A million people in the UK struggle with English apparently but how many are native born? How many speak two, three, or four other languages? How many Daily Heil readers are multilingual? How many Daily Heil readers are functionally illiterate? Isn't that a prerequisite?
