Btw, Universal Audio LUNA 3 is out. They're pushing AI features, but is it just stem separation? I don't need that kind of AI, so I won't switch. This AI trend in DAWs is kind of a bummer. Cubase is doing it too. Reason hasn't joined in yet, so it'll probably stay my main DAW.

RND finally released the 542 plugin! I owned the hardware before and it added such a great tone to everything. Unfortunately, they temporarily stopped selling it due to some bugs, but I'm sure it'll be back soon. Definitely buying it when it's available! www.soundonsound.com/reviews/rupe...

うーん、やっぱり10曲揃うまではBandcampで曲の効果は避けるべきか超悩む。10曲揃う前に買ってもらったあと、10曲揃わなかったら詐欺みたいになりそうで。とは言っても、たぶん売れないから大丈夫？😇 以前はアルバムと完成するまでの間、ストリーミングのみダウンロード販売しない設定ができたからよかったんだけど。 Reverbnationは無料枠の制限がきつくなって使わなくなったし、Audiomackに移行してみようかな。🤔

少しだけ円高になってきているから、ハロウィーンやサンクスギビングのセールで、DAWとかプラグインが買いやすくなるかも。円安でプラグインはほとんど買わなくなってしまったから、そろそろ新しいのを買ってみたいかも。ようやくReason 14にアップグレードしたけど、結局メインはほぼSubTractorばかり使っていて、Combinatorの中で複数のSubTractorとエフェクタ組み合わせれば、大抵自分の欲しい音が作れてしまうから、全然新しいデバイス使っていない、ということに。

Finally upgraded Reason to v14. Stayed on v12 since some people hated the new UI, but it's actually great for me! Already finished a new song so fast! Made lots of new sounds with stock instruments too. Reason is my main DAW again! Don't trust SNS too much haha. Just trust your own feeling.

I especially love the look and feel of System 6 and 7. Managing the extensions was a bit of a headache, but it was all part of the fun. I loved the trial and error of figuring out which ones worked best together. ;-)

Forgot I even had a PowerBook 180 until I fired it up today. Installed some retro games on the internal HDD, and it still runs flawlessly! I honestly prefer System 7 to modern macOS. Why did Apple have to change so much and ruin such a great system?

It seems ReverbNation no longer provides an embedded music player. But with Bandcamp, it seems I have to set a price as soon as I publish a track. I'd rather avoid selling them until the full album is out... I just want them to be streamable for now. Any tips on how to do that?

By the way, I recently got a new Sadowsky bass! But for this track, I stuck with my WAL fretless as usual. I've played fretless bass for over 3 decades, so it's actually a bit tricky to write for a 'normal' fretted bass. Haha!

Finally scored a new Sadowsky MetroLine PJ Bass. It's fretted! I usually play a fretless WAL bass, but sometimes I want frets. This is my first Sadowsky, and it sounds great to me because it's not too vintage. I'm also surprised that the internal active preamp sounds superb! 🎸
