Drove out to Springerville with some friends to meet up with another friend who was visiting from back East. It was fun, but we took a group photo because that is a thing you do. I look like an ogre of some kind. Like maybe I have a swamp, and maybe you need to get out of it.

It's been a long, trying day of fighting grass fires. I am ready for ibuprofen and sleep.

This is Klaes. I literally found him half-starved and near frozen in the forest as a kitten. I don't know where he came from, only that he was feral and so cold and hungry that he almost didn't make it. Now he is an adorable pest that won't let me nap in peace.
