It's not "strikingly juvenile" and it's not a "personal broadside." It's hate speech. The Vice President is trying to get people to vote against a Democrat by implying that he's gay and/or a pedophile and/or a fetishist. Take it seriously. It is on a par with every other kind of hate speech.

The D is the clue. Would you argue that a humanities PhD is greater/lesser than a science PhD or a British PhD is greater/lesser than a US PhD? They all have different requirements and some are more practice-based than others.

How embarrassing for you that no one ever taught you that PhDs are called "Dr." and that has been true since long before medical doctors were called "Dr." Maybe not as embarrassing as voting for a pedophile or defending the Cornell rapists, but embarrassing nonetheless.

This sweater is an example of Schiaparelli's penchant for using off-beat closures, construction details and intriguing fabrications to impart an artistic flair to her often simple silhouettes. Schiaparelli frequently used clever shapes and innovative materials for her closures and the rolled leather log buttons seen on this sweater are a clever example of that, MET
