wrong number sext fic for @stkinktober.bsky.social prompt 'sexting' 📱 rated E | multichapter (1/2) | 3.8k | #steddie 🔗 archiveofourown.org/works/94063656

fic cover made by someone whose passion is graphic design, but who should probably stop 😔 [pensive emoji]

fic title: a last minute invitation
fic author: hot_island_songs
summary:

Eddie was just trying to find someone to help him get off. He certainly didn't intend to proposition Steve Harrington, but if Steve wants to shoot the shit with him while he waits to hear back from a one night stand, so be it. Steve's just messing with him... isn't he?

"man, i miss kissing," steve says. "it's been like, way too long for me." he punctuates this with a weary sigh. he feels like he's earned himself that sigh. he hasn't been kissed in weeks and it's like, killing him, probably. he's withering away.

I want Eddie to be happy And I think he would be happiest being passed around like a joint at a gay leather bar surrounded by bears. He belongs to everyone and no one. No one messes with him at school anymore after one too many jocks got jumped or cornered by what they thought were bikers.

saw some wise words from björk on instagram and I really truly think this applies to all art, be it sounds, words or pictures. (i know it's easier said than done sometimes, but it's so true)

screen shots of björk saying:
"Every time I start to think about what people think of my music I lose the plot.
But you train yourself not to think that way. The only thing you can do is please yourself." part 1 of 3.

screen shots of björk saying:
"The more selfish you are, the more generous you are.
As contradictory as that sounds."
part 2 of 3.

screen shots of björk saying:
"The minute I need to start pleasing five people, I won't please anyone.
But if I only please myself, I might please ten people, you see."
part 3 of 3.
