Nvm telling my intrusive thoughts that I’m gonna kick they ass. I’ve got a lot of pressure on me lately and I’m just dogshit at handling it all, I get scared I end up making that other peoples’ problem so I try to tuck myself away instead of facing it head on.

Even if AI could mimic the very essence of emotion driven art, it’s still just mimicry of the emotion rather than the actual feeling and expression of that emotion. Are we THAT excited to have easily accessible art creation that we want a world with no real human emotion put into artistic creation?

It’s just such an overall odd concept. What is the end goal? No one has to pay for art because they can generate whatever image they want by asking a machine? Art itself isn’t a problem solving field, it’s a field of expression and people pay to enjoy that expression. What is the expression of AI??

I’ve honestly never understood the point of AI art. I understand wanting to optimize a practical field to make it more accessible but art is one of the most soulful experiences a person can share. Using AI to remove the soul from an inherently soulful action is just plain fucked up
