Following along @mzakharuk.bsky.social's reread of @juliaserano.bsky.social's "Whipping Girl". Barely any cis people understand the rampant rape culture inherent to the medical gatekeeping of trans healthcare. These "professionals" know the power they hold over trans people and often abuse it.

Not to excuse the guy but there's a clear pattern of "solo( open source maintainer turns to genAI to do more things faster bc it's seen as the only way to do so" that ought to be addressed one day. If open-source devs had a real support system this wouldnt happen so much I think.

and agreed about language being a way to bridge two cognitive hyperspaces. i've also noticed the same thing about near-synonyms, as no two words mean the exact same thing: you might also have to borrow from another language. (and that definitions of a same word depend on the vécu of each individual)

i tried filling in some of the black symbols in the black area with white, but binary eye couldn't decode it. i think most codewords have values that allow them to be fully black with the right mask to allow more of it to be painted black, so they don't depend on error correction? nice one! :p
