So, #discord has a new Age Verification thing as you all know, and it's going swimmingly. I guess, as an adult (Per Discord), I'm still 'not old enough' to view my mod channels 🙃 Guess I gotta upgrade to hag status before I can be a mod anymore!

Microsoft already effectively forced me to partially dox myself by forcing me to use a physical, bound to a contract, phone to verify my account because I committed the grevious TOS violation of "Not having a Phone number attached to my account" a few years ago (Video attached)

So after some further investigation, my PSU is definitely dead, and it took at least some other stuff with it, and without replacing it piece by piece to determine what all has failed there's no telling just how much damage was done, so I'm marking it a total loss.

I started a claim with my insurance and gathered a couple quotes for new PC builds, but even an equivalent build exceeds $4000.

I don't know how much my insurance will be willing to pay out as of yet, but I DO know I'm going to need to pay at least $500 for my deductible.

At the moment I am unemployed, almost out of unemployment benefits and can barely afford rent as it is.

I hate asking for help, but I really don't have a choice right now.

How do you turn that off, you ask? Go to Server Settings > Roles Click on a role, then scroll to the bottom and select @\everyone, Then go to the permissions tab. Use External apps is towards the bottom of the list Thanks for you eyes, have a good night, Stay safe!

Hey Y'all. A while back discord introduced this thing called "External Apps" and enabled it by default for all users. The thing we fully anticipated to happen was this. It was posted in every channel in the server, obviously a phishing attempt, you should probs go turn that off
