Anyone have suggestions for overcoming heavy burnout when you’re manager doesn’t care that you’re burnt out from the workload they dole out

Alright Canes peeps; does anyone know why they aren’t currently doing pre-paid parking for opening night? I usually buy my parking with my tickets and it wasn’t an option this time and ParkWhiz only shows parking outside the arena zone

Things yall missed in my absence may include but not limited to; more movies seen (thanks A-List, who wants to discuss The Odyssey) spent most of the playoffs at Ale House, got some new tattoos (planned more too) went to an outdoor concert & almost died cause the heat, works sucks (when doesn’t it)

Listen as much as I enjoyed last night, ya girl is so sleep deprived that she feels drunk. Working a full shift and then driving the 2 hours for the game and back is not for the weak it appears

Hope 🏒✨ @hoopemarie8.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

Ya know, last night was my first time I’ve ever attended a game solo and I was nervous about how that would go, but between the game itself and the people I sat next to, it might’ve been the best time I’ve had at a game in a long ass time! I may just have to go to more games solo

I will give Charlie McAvoy credit in the fact that he is the only player to have actually said sorry (even if it was PR directed) but this doesn’t fix all the issues nor does it negate hanging out with creeps

Here I go again ranting, but it irks me that the whole “why does everything have to be so political” keeps getting tossed around as if EVERYTHING ISN’T ALREADY POLITICAL! This administration is literally using basic human rights are fucking bargaining chips and actual fucking people as pawns

Sometimes ignorance is bliss because these past 3 days of being informed has been exhausting and I wish I could be blissfully ignorant but no I chose to be someone who stays informed

Also in case it was not obvious, I am not religious in any way shape or form nor am I a believer in organized religion and it’s debatable on the daily whether or not I actually believe there is a god sooooo yes I am highly critical of performative religiously tied acts like using a missions trip to

Fun fact; I took a class today to learn how to better support people having mental health crises and how to recognize the sign and symptoms of a mental health crisis in a person and it was really amazing but it’s sad how many people are not educated in this sort of thing simply bc of stigmas

I’m sorry but I think some of those who are surprised about Slavin going to the WH maybe need a refresher on how white nationalism and Christianity go hand in hand majority of the time 🤦🏻‍♀️

Always a fun evening at the Canes Corner radio show! Got Chatfield to sign my jersey, met @hoopemarie8.bsky.social in person by happy accident, and had some delicious shrimp & grits and brussels sprouts 😋. Pretty good start to the week!

Seeing Trump and Kash Patel interact with the men’s hockey team is a solid example of how misogyny functions as a male bonding ritual. Patel is clearly trying to impress the athletes and Trump, Trump is trying to impress the athletes, and the athletes are trying to impress the president
