Update 6 Infusion 2 of 4 done. Deferred from last week bc my ALT was 407 😳 down to 154 today. Cold sensitivity notably worse this time. Feel more woozy kind of overall. But not bad. I continue to feel so grateful that this is all I have to deal with.

Now the viewpoint changes to be in the balloon with the person. They are looking through binoculars down at the person on the ground. It seems like they are holding another sign but it is too small to see.

Update part 4 Had a CT and some bloodwork today. Chemo starts 6/10. Doing 3 mo. Infusion every 3 wks and pills at home. Nervous about swallowing the pills and some of the side fx but overall I feel great about everything. Thank you all for your support, I love ya ❤️ Reminder to get your fiber!! 💩

Update for awareness part 3 Well it turns out I have cancer after all 😅 Just had surgery to remove part of my colon and everything went well! Feel so much better today and hopefully going home tomorrow. Doc still has to look at lymph nodes so I may need some chemo but I feel good about everything.

Update for awareness! Just had my second colonoscopy (this one with EMR) to remove a larger polyp that couldn’t be removed during my first one. Everything went well! Doc still has to review to make sure there is no cancer but she feels good about it.

To all my 40 something friends out there: please please get a colonoscopy as soon as you can after turning 45 or sooner if you have family history and insurance covers it. Had a scare recently (I’m ok but feel like I dodged a bullet) and I’m so glad I got one when I did.

I continue to be blown away. So honored that my work has affected so many others ❤️

It's been over 33 years since I lost my dad to cancer. I was 12. This so wonderfully captures what I felt then, and how I still continue to process goodbyes. I'd never realized that was what I was doing until I read this. You have given me so much peace and brought an understanding I didn't even realize I was missing. This is maybe the most comforting thing I've ever seen. Thank you.

Happy belated Nov 1 guys

A jolly looking Santa Claus says, “Mary Christmas”.

A person asleep on a table has “ZZZZ” emanating from them.

A silhouette of Santa, now furious, yells, “MARY, CHRISTMAS!!!”

The person asleep on the table now springs awake and mumbles, “wha”. She has a name tag that reads, “Mary”.

Her eyes grow wide as she notices something.

There is a desk calendar showing the day to be Nov 1.

Mary slams down on a large button on some sort of device which activates a light for “Christmas” with the dates “Nov 1 – Jan 1”. To the left there is another button under a label for “Hanukkah” with the dates “Nov 28 – Dec 6” and to the right there is a button for “Kwanzaa” with the dates “Dec 26 – Jan 1”.

An alarm starts blaring “AHOOGA AHOOGA” as a silhouette of Mary stands in surprise.

Mary, now looking terrified, says, “It has begun”.

We jump to a person sitting quietly at a table holding a cup of coffee and smiling. There is a dark amorphous blob far behind them.
