Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 05/12/2024Thanks for checking it out man! This story’s incredibly personal to me & we have some huge things coming! 110

I really enjoy reading indie creators' superhero stories because they’re just as much fans as I am, which makes me appreciate their work even more. 011

As someone who loves mythology, I found the story incredibly enjoyable. Superheroes versus the Hawaiian pantheon what’s not to like? 231

Remember those who have been killed, injured, abused, tortured for being who they are. Remember those who have taken their own lives because they could not live in a world where they could not be themselves. Remember them. And make the world remember them. 145192799417
Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 18/11/2024If you're wondering how these characters from completely different corners of the world echo one another, you've gotta read to find out! (ooh look at that, a sneak peek at Rah's new armor 00) 000
Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 18/11/2024The world of One Sun is littered with divine beings from across the world. But what causes them to cross paths? How do they react to discovering that *all* the gods are REAL?! And maybe most importantly— what's up with the glowy chest symbols? Do they all go to the same tailor? 120
Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 18/11/2024We are officially opening up for younger readers and can't wait to usher in a new generation of mythology geeks. 2025 is a year of EXPANSION & GROWTH for the One Sun Universe. Don't miss out! #Comics 000

Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 17/11/2024DAMN I remember that era. It was Asa Butterfield vs Logan Lerman as far as the internet was concerned 😂😂 And yeah ngl… I would’ve been pissed 121
Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 17/11/2024At least it sounds like an evolved version of the first one! Tyler’s was completely different 😭 I don’t think I would’ve noticed at all had I not listened to the score by itself 110
Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 17/11/2024This is actual tea why AM I JUST FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS ngl, I dislike his version heavily but it does explain why the movie version sounds so knockoff. Its really overbearing when not paired with the visuals (to me) 110
Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 17/11/2024Ohhh okay I remember that. But also similarly at first I don’t remember noticing — until I listened to the score on its own. I’m glad marvel seems to be trying to rectify their soundtrack identities, I think I huuuge missed opportunity was not keeping that djwadi iron man theme 110
Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 17/11/2024AH okay I like the new one! Damn, giacchino can really chameleon his work among others but show off when he wants to. I’m sure most don’t even notice the difference but the new one is far more hummable 110

Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 17/11/2024Am I trippin or is his “Marvel Studios Fanfare” completely different from the current one? They sound so similar I can’t place it , but something is different 110
Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 16/11/2024For these “Fantastic Collectibles” in Manteca (I have a pull list there) but if I’m HUNTING for an issue I’ll go to Invincible or Modesto Comics (just reopened) 000

Blaze Ho’omakoa @hoomakoa.bsky.social · 31/10/2024Oh wow - I find that very interesting. The psychology of the stories we choose to tell! I personally gravitate toward superhero and sci-fi as ways to explore the human condition but disaster stuff sounds very intriguing ! 110

Reposted by Blaze Ho’omakoaG. Willow Wilson @gwillow.me · 30/10/2024Writing an issue of something that is basically one long fight scene with some character beats in it, and I tell you: the most difficult part of writing genre fiction is not plot or dialogue or thematic structure. It's choreography. Moving bodies through space in a way that tells a story. 2873084
