Donate! 💰Knit! 🧶 Resist! 💪All you need is 85g of red worsted weight yarn - if you have scraps you can do stripes!MODS:Yarn: Red worsted weight. Gauge: 5sts/6.5 rnds per in Needles: US5 for ribbing & US7 for bodyWith smaller needle, cast on 92 sts. (Fits my 22” head nicely - cast on 100 for larger heads) Round 1: K2, p2 to end. Repeat round 1 working 2x2 rib for 6”Change to larger needles. Next round: Knit. Knit every round, working 3” of stockinette. Crown shaping:Decreases are around 4 quadrantsSetup rnd for decreases 92 sts: K11, pm, k1, pm,[k22, pm, k1, pm] 3 times, knit to end. Setup rnd for decreases 100 sts: K12, pm, k1, pm, [k24, pm, k1, pm] 3 times, knit to end. Dec rnd: [k to 2 sts before m, ssk, slip marker, k1, slip marker, k2tog] 4 times, knit to end. Decrease every 3rd round until there are 12 sts.Knit 2 rounds.
