her tale of shim cheong volume covers >>

a blonde hair woman lies down besides a dark haired woman, her hair is long enough to cascade down the other ones head as she peers over her. they both are wearing loose clothing.

a blonde woman is having her hair bejeweled as she wears something red and flowy (my apologies, not entirely sure about the name of the clothes she's wearing). a dark haired woman is putting the ornaments in her hair, standing behind her with her face covered by her bangs. the dark haired woman is wearing far simpler attire.

a dark haired woman, now with her hair cut short, is being hugged by a blonde haired woman who has her hair in a braid. they are both smiling wide, with flowers at the bottom. there is a glowing lantern close by them, illuminating their faces.

a blonde haired woman with long hair sits in a pond all wet, her clothes see-through, she is holding the chin of a dark haired woman (her hair cut to her shoulders). the dark haired woman is leaning forward into the blonde woman's touch. there are lotus flowers at the bottom of the image along with large leaves.

just had a yuri induced heart attack

nina from girls band cry is in frame, though only her cheek to her neck can be seen. she is turned to the side, and we can see her shirt collar. momoka's hand goes to her chin, the thumb (seemingly) brushing against her lip. nina has brown hair that are in pigtails, though only one of them is visible, and a stray hair piece that goes down the side of her face.

the subtitles read, "i wanted you to stay yourself and keep singing."

in this frame, nina has turned around. we can still only see from her cheek to her neck, but now with a bit of her ear showing along with two stray strands of hair framing her face. her mouth is agape, slightly. momoka's hand is caressing her face.

the subtitles read, "i wanted you to stay yourself and keep singing."

oniisama e is in this style from mariko's perspective

from the manga the rows of cherry trees. a girl lies downs in her bed, music notes floating around her. she is in a white circle, outside of the circle a starry night sky. all the line art is colored green.

from the manga the rows of cherry trees. the top panel shows two girls in the same school unform walking side by side. the girl on the right holds a bag, and has a headband in her hair. they both have bangs and hair that goes down their backs. text besides the panel reads "they look fondly at one another, exchanging cheerful smiles for the first time in many days."

the bottom panel shows them from the back, walking through a row of blooming cherry trees. the girl with the headband has her arm on the other's shoulder. two pieces of text are above the panel, with wavy borders and flowers around it. the first paragraph says "a warmth that the golden tops of the cherry trees seem to share." the second paragraph says "yukiko's resentment for ayako has dissipated now. her heart glows with warmth........"

watching girls band cry and the REVEAL that we're seeing things from nina's perspective... that she slept with momoka... and then it pans over to the tiny bed they were sharing so you know they were all squished up together... took me the fuck out

momoka from girls band cry is lying on her side, mid yawn. she has silver hair and bangs, and is wearing a hoodie.

from the anime girls band cry, only nina's legs are visible from this perspective. she is wearing a red tracksuit (i think) with white stripes on the side. the subtitles say, "i moved to tokyo a few days ago."

this frame shows only a bare bed with a wrinkly bedsheet and a pillow with a grid pattern. the subtitles say, "-this is what i see."

yurination needs to talk abt himitsu no hanazono more... rereading and my goodness

a cropped panel from the manga 'himitsu no hanazono' (in english: the secret garden) by fujii mihona. in the upper right corner it shows two characters kissing, and in the bottom right doing the same thing but a different angle. in the middle it shows one character towering over the other, the one lying on the couch is wearing a dress. in the bottom left the one with short hair asks, "are you scared?

"I don’t have a full understanding of my own sexuality, and I want to depict what I don’t know while it’s still unknown to me." this answer is so good

Q: Many of the characters in both Inside Mari and Welcome Back, Alice could be described as “failing at gender,” whether it is Isao attempting to embody femininity in complex female social dynamics, Yori having to hide her sexuality to survive, Kei’s frustration with the gender binary, or Yohei and Yui’s sometimes toxic struggles to live up to gendered expectations in their sexual relationship. How did you think about representing the gendered restrictions that all these characters struggle with?

A: I feel that the term “gender” carries a great deal of significance in our social lives. I want to draw stories that explore issues of sexuality and sexual desire from an internal, personal perspective. I believe that sexuality has both a socially indoctrinated aspect and an internal, personal aspect to it. To see that as two conflicting sides between society and the individual feels dangerous to me. I feel as if these aspects are intricately intertwined as a single system—that perhaps, neither of these elements can be removed from this system. I don’t have a full understanding of my own sexuality, and I want to depict what I don’t know while it’s still unknown to me.

yoru to umi got me seriously into the genre, even if the two girls weren't explicitly romantic as other yuris are. every page in this manga is a true work of art and i have such a soft spot for it because it made me realize i really could just go and read anything i wanted lol

the manga cover for yoru to umi. two girls with a school uniforn sit nearly back to back. water droplets float in front of them covering some part of the manga volume text and their bodies (the water droplets remind me of the air bubbles that float up if you were to breathe underwater). the girl on the left has bangs and silver hair that goes slightly past her shoulders, while the other has short hair that barely reaches her chin.

last couple of days on twitter

a meme with a news reporter in the middle. the top text says "NONLESBIANS BE LIKE." and the bottom text says "REPORTING LIVE FROM A LESBIAN'S BUSINESS..." the word nonlesbians, and the phrase a lesbian's have black scribbles behind them (likely to cover up what the original text said)

shameless engagement bait but what is one of ur fave yuri confession scene guys... mine was this scene from rgu

a screencap from mars-flame-sniper on tumblr, from the anime revolutionary girl utena. anthy has purple hair curled up, with a bindi on her forehead. she holds a cup of tea, and stands in front of a background of a nightsky; two stars are especially bright. the subtitles on the bottom of the screencap say, "are you familiar with cantarella?"

a screencap from mars-flame-sniper on tumblr, from the anime revolutionary girl utena. utena is in the same place as the last screencap, however is holding up her own cup of tea and the cookie is gone from where it was half in her mouth (she had eaten it). the subtitles on the bottom say, "what a coincidence... i put poison in your tea."

a screencap from mars-flame-sniper on tumblr, from the anime revolutionary girl utena. anthy, in the same position as she was before, has her eyes now closed as she smiles. she is still holding her cup of tea, and the subtitles on the bottom say, "this tea is delicious."

from @/plazynoodles on twitter: u can help a man and his family suffering from genocide. if u liked shows such as arcane, fma, or one piece, think abt how these shows feature oppressed people wanting to live in peace in their own land t.co/MPptdxPSAx / t.co/Aqpavo2N1X

this is a screenshot of a notes app document with a green border surrounding the screenshot. it reads: "i am helping a palestinian man displaced in gaza and his family. the current priority is to fundraise for his father's dental treatment in the west bank who has severe issues and cannot eat without being in pain."

this is a screenshot of a fundraiser with in bold red text "PLEASE STOP AND READ" at the top with a palestinian flag on the bottom. it is surrounded by a border. the fundraiser's title is "MAHMOUD'S FATHER DENTAL FUND". 17% of the $4,000 goal has been reached. the description reads: "i am fundraising on the behalf of a palestinian man and his family (there is a link to his twitter account here, which is @/mahmoudmush). mahmoud is currently displaed in gaza and his father is seperated from him in the west bank, his father is suffering from dental issues so severe that he needs immediate treatment because he cannot eat. the procedure will be paying for dentures, he needs $1500 for the treatment to start. the total cost of the procedure is $2250 and the rest of the money will be going to mahmoud."
