Panel 1: A limp hand is barely holding the frayed remains of a red charm bracelet. On the background, Casey and Kiran are running towards it.

Panel 2: Close-up of Casey and Kiran. The framing obscure Casey’s eyes, yet tears can be seen running down his face. Kiran has a troubled expression.

Captions:
KIRAN: ...fuck.

Panel 3: Casey has fallen to his knees, Kiran behind him. In front of them Tor and Odin are walking out of Cauldron Lake. Odin is holding Tor’s shoulder while Tor is carrying Saga’s body, his head resting on top of hers.

Mirror Peak is looming over the tragedy.

Panel 4: Outside a house. Tor and Odin are waiting as Kiran and Casey are at the door. Kiran is holding Casey by his shoulder with a worried expression on her face. Casey is snarling at her while knocking on the door.

Captions:
KIRAN: Alex, wait! You don't have to do this. Let me—
CASEY: Fuck off, Kiran.

Panel 1: Inside the house. David has opened the door, he’s holding a phone on his hand. On the other side, Kiran is trying to step in front Casey while she’s speaking to David. Casey is frozen and looking directly at Logan who is on the foreground. Logan is holding her phone, on the screen can faintly be seen a contact called “Mom”.

Captions:
DAVID: Casey? Where the hell is—
KIRAN: David Woods? I'm Kiran Estevez of the FBC. Can we come in?

Panel 2: A memorial service held outdoors. All seats have been taken by attendants.
In the center is a portrait picture of Saga.
To the left, her casket covered in floral arrangements. In front of it Tor, Odin, and David hugging Logan can be seen.
To the right Casey is walking toward a plinth to deliver an eulogy. He’s wearing a formal FBI outfit.

Panel 3: A rainy scene. On the foreground Casey and Kiran are covered from the rain under a tree. Casey is sitting on the floor, his back to the trunk, with his elbows resting on his knees, holding his head between his hands. Kiran is standing next him, looking at the scene past them:
David embracing Logan, they’re facing away. In front of them, Tor is looking up, eyes closed and soaking under the rain. Right in front of him Odin is placing down flowers in front of two tombstones, one for Freya, the other for Saga.

ODIN: Hey kiddo…

3/4

Panel 1: Inside the Oldest House. Arish is struggling, holding Emily from the waist. She’s yelling and about to hurl an HRA to a group of researchers. Underhill is behind her trying to take the HRA from her. Emily’s face and fingers are covered in scars, her hands are bandaged. Her wedding band looks particularly bright.

No one is wearing an HRA.

On the wall behind them can be seen design plans for a cubical structure, on one of them it can be barely read “SARCOPHAGUS”. On the desk below there are a myriad of documents, folders and instruments, and a small framed picture of a couple wearing white suits.

Captions:
EMILY: FUCK OFF! No one is separating them until—
UNDERHILL: Doctor, be careful with your hands.

Panel 2: On the left, the group of researchers are standing still. On the center, Arish is angrily pointing at them, he’s wearing a full protective black armor. Underhill standing in front of him is holding the HRA she took from Emily.
Emily is walking away towards Langston who’s manning a console.

The room is in disarray, full of computers, whiteboards, documents and folders, and consoles.

Caption:
ARISH: We gave you an order: Shut the fuck up and wait.
LANGSTON: He's ready for the check-up, Doctor.

Panel 3: Langston is standing in front of a control console. Behind him, screens show what appears to be a camera feed of a containment cage. He’s holding both his hands in front of him. His suit and tie look well put together, unlike his saddened expression.
Behind him, Emily is walking past an opening containment gate into a blinding white light. Arish pats Langston on the shoulder on his way following Emily.

A few warning signs can be read on the shelter gate:
CONTAIN
CHAMBE
INTERDIMENSIO
HAZARD
NO HRAs ALLOWED

Captions:
EMILY: Thank you, Frederick.
LANGSTON: Sure.

Panel 1: An enormous chamber houses a disturbing, shifting, disintegrating pyramid-like structure which looms over the small figures of Emily and Arish as they walk toward a containment cage in the center.

Panel 2: Emily and Arish are in front of the door of the cage. Inside, Dylan is sitting on the floor, holding on to someone. Strings of energy coming out of the person. Outside the cage, a shifting, spiraling chaos can be seen.

Captions:
EMILY: Dylan... I finally found— we can—
ARISH: Hey man. There's something we can do now.

Panel 3: Strings of energy are cutting Dylan’s face. His tears are floating up from his eyes. Jesse’s red hair can be seen distorted and disintegrating into the air.

Captions:
EMILY: So when you're ready...
DYLAN: She... She stopped breathing three days ago.

Panel 4: Dylan is lovingly and carefully holding on to Jesse’s distorted corpse, gently touching her face, while both Arish and Emily are helping him to stand up.

Strings of energy emanating from Jesse’s remains are cutting into Dylan’s and Emily’s faces.

$Jesse's corpse lies on the floor. A sickening, twitching, multidimensional fractured body. A shifting chaos of five different versions of her, superimposed and barely spread apart from each other. Director Faden holding a disintegrating Service Weapon. P7 holding her head between her hands as she cries out in despair. Civilian Jesse arching her head to look up, esseJ’s hand grasping at her heart. A crying bride reaching up to her spouse. All five versions wearing a wedding band. This is the interdimensional hazard. And it needs to be contained.$

Panel 1: A room full of screens displaying feeds of a giant cubical chamber.
Emily is standing in front of a control console while speaking into a walkie-talkie. Her left hand rests near a big red button. Underhill is looking at her, worried.

Captions:
EMILY: Arish, take your team and retreat half a mile past the firebreak and wait for countdown.

Panel 2: Underhill holds Emily’s arm so she turns around and look at Dylan behind her. He’s sitting in front of a table, holding his face between his hands.

On the wall behind Emily and Underhill, a huge screen shows the cubical structure sitting in an infinite black void. The other screens show a bridge leading to the structure, and red lights blinking across it.

Captions:
UNDERHILL: Emily, please. Allow me.

Panel 3: Emily places a hand on Dylan’s shoulder, he looks up at her. She’s here to keep him company.
Their hands are still bandaged and their faces still scarred.

Behind them, on the console, Underhill moved to take Emily’s place.

Captions:
ARISH: We're at the safe zone now and waiting.
UNDERHILL: Beginning countdown now. 10, 9, 8...

Panel 4: Underhill has pushed the button. The screens show the bridge to the structure covered in smoke from explosions. The room is flooded with a blinding white light.

On the foreground, Dylan is desperately hugging on to Emily, she embraces him back. Tears can be seen running down her scarred face. None of them are looking at the screens.

it's one of those days I suppose

Three panel comic. First panel is a featureless cartoon person sitting it a desk with a drawing tablet, happily saying "time to draw". Second panel is of the same person leaning close into the tablet screen, with a clock behind them, the pen laying on their desk, and three dots next to their head. The third panel shows the person and tablet from behind, with a screenshot of an empty digital art canvas. He asks "time to draw?" and in parenthesis at the bottom it says it has been 6 hours.
