Had a very cute little Black Clover comm done by the incredibly talented @honexstage.bsky.social to commemorate the upcoming second season. He, as always, knocked it out of the park.

Asta and Noelle sit getting ready to watch the new season of Black Clover. Asta, in his excitement, has grabbed Noelle's hand, causing her brain to melt a bit.

Black Clover comm by @honexstage.bsky.social. He knocked it out of the park as usual. Had it done to commemorate the return of the anime. Just one more month.

i struggle with a brain that wants to stiffly copy whatever reference i'm using and one thing i've found helpful:
1. draw big blocky shapes over the reference
2. turn off ref and redraw big blocky shapes
3. draw in figure with big blocky shapes overlaid
Traducir post

photo of model posing as an elegant elf woman that ive blocked out with a chunky red brush

in a separate window ive redrawn the red blocks, then have drawn details over the red blocks, using the photo+red transparency as reference

final doodle of the figure drawing without the red blocking

Yeah this is one of a few artwork where I really push myself. I usually don't draw something this ambitious and this time consuming. And thank you

Hey everyone, I was lucky enough to be able to participate in the #BlackClover #TabataFanArtBook and have my artworks be shown to him in this upcoming event in Barcelona. So I did try my best for this. And it was a lot of fun. Also everyone involved did so well with their artwork as well.

The progress of the drawing is like 90% done. I can't wait to finish this and go back to doing commissions and more casual fanart. I probably can do it in a few days. Hopefully

For anyone that doesn't know, you can add content warnings to your art before posting so it filters out for people with those settings. Generally a nice thing to do and helps others curate their timeline which is always a positive! and for those who DO know, please, use them😭 it's genuinely helpful

Thank you for the 300 followers. And here's some more snippet of the drawing I've been working on. I finished working on the lineart today. So I can finally start coloring it. But I'll do that tomorrow, I need sleep now
