Still playing Fire Emblem. So a lot of Fire Emblems give you a crutch character early on that you can lean on in dangerous moments. They tend to have bad stats over the long term tho. Cai's path doesn't do that. You get this guy pretty close out of the game and he's one of the best in the game.

Hope we get another season of Mao because the final episode gives no real clue at all if we'll be getting more. It's a charming weekly show, workmanlike in a few regards, but occasionally punching above its weight.

I enjoyed Ghost Game for what it was, it's tough to make me dislike a weekly spooky themed show, but Beatbreak straight up blows it out of the water.

How do you even do a Sequel to anything connected to The Rise of Skywalker? I think one of the biggest failings of that trilogy is the sequel era is how completely textureless that entire era of Star Wars is.

Beatbreak is one of those shows that ends and you immediately miss it imo. Good finale and a damn good show.

Played the demo of the new Hellraiser game. Actually fairly impressed with some of the art direction in the game, even if it feels like "What if we take Resident Evil and kinda smear Hellraiser over it?" (That's not inherently a knock imo.) Does not tone down the gore from the movies at all btw.

Saw a local news story where teenagers won't be allowed at the local mall because there was a few fist fights there recently. The thought of a mall turning away teenagers would be insane two decades ago, but malls now don't really exist for teenagers. They're for upper-middle class/wealthy folks.

One thing that's a bit ??? about the upcoming Castlevania game is there's no Switch 2 version coming out so far. Just a Switch version. I guess I can't complain. Konami is being very brave, putting on their shoes and venturing outside the house for the first time in years.

Putting aside that Silent Hill f did have a slight connection to previous entries, I'll just flatly say I think Silent Hill becoming this quasi horror anthology series is cool as shit. I'm totally fine with it branching out beyond the town.

When I went to go see Resident Evil it was MOSTLY fine, but one guy there wouldn't shut the fuck up for the first 15 minutes for some reason. He eventually shut up. I don't understand. Everything is too expensive, including going to the movies, and you can't lock in for this?

Wanna say the people who were irrationally angry about this movie are even more wrong than I thought. This film is Cregger giving the Resident Evil series butterfly kisses and saying how much he loves the whole series. It is a genuine love letter to the series if anything, on top of being good.
